Thanks, I have an interesting subject towards your tech area. Do you know the coil on these motors put a voltage, and you can charge on your rc batteries. It's how you wire it up. Back in the day, I used to run a fleet of go carts in indoor cart centre, which we have GX 200 Honda motors, which run a similar coil to the 1/5 scale and we work out that we could charge the timer battery and the remote kill system on the carts using the same coil. Comes down how you wire the system up.

@@robertblunden7160 Hi Robert, yeah i'm just diving into the coil parameters now, but its for making an induction probe for reading the RPM. There is indeed a lot of wasted, untapped energy coming off those magnetos. Next video will be the induction probe conditioning circuit and some oscilloscope views of what comes off those coils.
