As Pete did all the videos on this and all I’m doing is hosting it I won’t reply to any messages unless you ask me something that isn’t about the car when I owned it. Hope you understand 😊

Great communications skills, tradesman skills very enjoyable. I am buying mgf 's for peanuts because of the head gaskets and hydrlastic suspension, so by using the alternative thermostat from the Landover and a canister of silicone glue sorted.

Thanks Rick/Pete, good seeing the work getting carried out, looks more straight forwards than it probably is. Although the K series engine has received much bad publicity in the past it really isn’t a bad engine at all, light, economical, reliable and revvy units, you just need to pay attention to your water levels, not thrash it from cold and generally get it regularily serviced, no more to ask than what should be done with most engines. Looking forwards to the next video.

Great instructional video Pete, you are very methodical, really appreciate your extra time & effort to film, as well as having to do the Job in hand

Great detailed video. £450 for the work on a £250 car makes sense to me on Judith, as you wont find a car nowadys as good for under £2,000 at least.

I think I would get new exhaust manifold studs and nuts. Was it running badly or was it just milky at the oil filler cap? Perhaps it was only leaking between the water and oil passages?

A common fault on K-Series engines. My brother had the Rover 25 1.4. Engine wise good but the rest of it not.
