There are so many ways to make this deck just go off but I would want more win con cards. Otherwise pretty good!

last rec (sorry for so many comments! i’ve been putting a lot of work into building rowan lately so i have a lot to say) is threaten effects. any of the red cards that say “gain control of target creature until end of turn. untap that creature. it gains haste” work to untap rowan and let you activate her again. most of them are in the 3-4 mana range and only have 1 red pip, so after youve used rowan it’ll just be one mana to use her again

Sick deck! This is some power creep and I can see this being a threat in some local game stores.

in terms of lands, hall of the bandit lord and boseiju, who shelters all are both super worth it. both make you lose life, hall of the bandit lord lets you immediately use that lifeloss if you get rowan out with it bc haste, and boseiju makes it so your big combo turn/finisher spell can’t be stopped

I built Rowan in a more Stormy fashion: a bunch of rituals, card draw spells, making mana or treasures with Birgi/Storm-kiln Artist, chaining off a bunch of spells and killing folks with Grapeshot/Tendrils of Agony Usually tapping Rowan for 3 is enough to make your rituals virtually free, allowing for some crazy turns!

I just finished using this and Painters Assistant to make my dream Eldrazi Deck. Rowan is seriously a sleeper Commander I didn't see coming and I'll be probably building a second version of this deck around just being this unfair to my friends (with their permission). Some awesome recommendations. I may even throw a City on Fire in there or Atherflux Res. to add another win condition. Also, Bloodletter is a card I'd recommend. Easy 1 and 4 Black to double the life loss of your opponents. Make those pay life for damage spells that much easier.

I think that this is also the perfect deck for a Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood loop. Exquisite Blood becomes incredibly cheap with her discount (eg. you lose 4 life in a turn, it costs B), and also makes it much harder for you to burn yourself out because you can gain a TON of life with it. You're also drawing a ton of cards, so this infinite combo is very low in terms of opportunity cost.

Dualcaster mage would be nice in here

i’d also recommend diabolic revelation, it’s X3BB and let’s you tutor X cards, if you’ve activated rowan for 20 that lets you tutor 17 cards which Should be enough to win the game.

I certainly want to build a rowan deck. Seems like she can pop off for sure.

Could u do a Etali Primal Conquest cEDH deck tech?

Toxic deluge would be an issue here. You can pay a high amount of life but that will kill rowan and you cannot activate in response seeing that her ability activates at sorcery speed. Great kill spell but it does not synergies very well here. Other than that the deck is pretty solid.

As a Rowan player myself I can say for sure: It feels reaally good to deal 40+ damage with Crackle with Power. Other lands to consider are Ramunap Ruins and Ifnir Badlands as they also ping you for one and aren't expensive as Mana Confluence for example. A cute card to add is Tavern Swindler since it loses you life but also can recover it. Last but not least I like Unspeakable Symbol better than Wall of Blood because I can pump a creature that can actually attack and help finish people off.

More of a high powered deck than a "CEDH" deck. A little bit too low on the rocks, could have gone with the staples. Dockside is also missing, which is crucial in any red CEDH decks
