Per Gessle does an acoustic version of this song. He wrote this after being rejected by German radio. They told him to write a Christmas song, so, he did. German radio still would not play it so, it was sidelined until Gary Marshall called and asked to use it for Pretty Woman!

Great reaction. Roxette is amazing. I would love to hear your thoughts and reaction to their ballads "Anyone", "No One Makes It On Her Own" and "Salvation". I think those songs are absolutely brilliant masterpieces but unfortunately they never became huge hits and are way underrated. Thank you.

As a general rule , the " live " performance of a hit song almost never matches the quality of the studio version for obvious reasons.However , this performance is the exception to that rule. In my opinion , this song far exceeds the studio version . The passion in her voice is so much stronger . Absolutely amazing . RIP Marie .
