"Speak to Me", written by Per Gessle and performed by Swedish pop duo Roxette, is the second single released from their eighth studio album Charm School.
Charm School is the eighth studio album by the Swedish pop duo Roxette released on 11 February 2011. It is Roxette's first studio album, since 2001's Room Service.[1] It's the duo's biggest chart success since 1992's Tourism in countries like Germany and Switzerland, where it reached number one.
According to their official website, the album will be released on CD and LP. A deluxe edition, including a bonus CD with 12 live tracks will be also available. These songs were recorded in Saint Petersburg, Halmstad and Stavanger during their 2010 Tour.[2] Charm School has been certificated with Gold award for sales in Sweden, Austria, Germany, Russia and Czech Republic within 4 months from its release.
A digital only American release for the album was released on July 26, 2011.

Roxette at their best. When both Marie and Per sings in the song it's when Roxette comes alive. SPEAK TO ME is a gem for the wider audience still to find out about. Roxette - Charm School album is brilliant and hopefully more people finds it and enjoys the great songs on it.

Неповторимый завораживающий и удивительно чистый голос, не смотря на всё то через что ей пришлось пройти, браво Мари!!! Это уровень великого артиста. И каждый концерт в период с 2012 по 2015 был отыгран как последний, на невероятном нерве! Очень жаль, что всё закончилось, но ещё при жизни она стала легендой и иконой стиля! Knowing I was at this particular concert, from which the video clip is taken, and a few years after Marie left us, makes this song incredibly emotional to me. Even if she was sick while singing this song, she fought to the end, and also this song shows it soooo well. The voice is still incredible in chorus like she was not sick at all. Tears and gratitude are the first emotions while listening to this amazing piece of Roxette. Just "thank you" is nothing to compare to what I really would like to say if I ever met Marie in person.

Ольга Колдашова это не передаваемые ощущения быть с ними под одной крышей, дышать одним воздухом, чувствовать их энергетику .... был на всех их концертах в Питере , трёх .... на последний в 2014 , осенью , пришёл с женой , которая была на 5 месяце беременности )

Я обожаю Roxette с 1990 года, и продолжаю их слушать практически каждый день в 2024 году. Они лучшие для меня, и миллионов их поклонников. Провёл полжизни с магической музыкой Roxette и не жалею об этом) Кстати Пер Gessle до сих пор годные песни выпускает. Без волшебного голоса Мари слушается по другому, но есть и отличные композиции, рекомендую.
