Cool sound and refreshing Re-Make! Well Done to Per Gessle & Marie Fredriksson and the team behind it! =D The Original is always the best but. After what Marie has been threw. I bow to her! I'm a cancer surviver. I had hodgekins Lymfomia with B-cell. With a size of 10x11x3.5cm big.

Definetely prefer the original. The real The Look is in my opinion the best pop-song ever made.

Missing the head drum when the lyrics say " banging on the HEAD DRUM" (that's why it was in the original in the first place)... and this version is generally too clean, imo...

I like this version for them, for having fun and enjoying what they do for themselves. I am happy for them. I love the original so much but this one sounds still good because all they changed was the instruments and the band music. The vocals are still there unlike other musicians who change up notes and everything too much ending up the song is not even close to its original at all.

To all the complainers- This was made because of a Swedish TV commercial. It's not Like Roxette sat down and thought "Let's do a new version of The Look". They were asked by a clothing company to use this particular song I guess, because it's called The Look and it's a company selling clothes so... It makes sense. It was a fun side project, not like they tried to re-boost their career with this version. '

Jules Stardust I'm more of a fan of their guitar-driven music than the synth music, but it's nice to get a new version of this song that isn't live or yet another remix of the old vocal. If you think the original is better don't worry because if history continues then we'll have dozens of completely different versions of these vocal by 2035 lol

Really? That seems strange because the ending of this version has a bit of that Beatles "Hey Jude" vibe at the end, and I don't think they started doing that until the live concerts that followed Charm School. It kinda spoils the "remake" aspect if this is just a 27 year old vocals with 2015 music.

I don't think they were trying to fix anything. This is a badass version and it was done by Roxette. It's not like someone cleared it and then covered it or sampled the heck out of it and essential make a cash grab out of it. They celebrated the songs 30th anniversary of the song by chopping it up a bit. Poor kid Marie. Such a performer and a beauty. She held herself like royalty. That spiked hairdo with that confidence just verging on arrogance but never going there. Tell you what, when she stood on the stage, there was no question who's stage it was. She really had the magnetism of a Mick Jagger or a Freddie Mercury. And from what I can tell, she was as sweet as could be.

This lacks the energy and edge of the classic version. I think they didn´t need to "remake" it, as it was perfect the way it was recorded in 88.

Well, "Jotun"..(Norway..? I really think you're on to something.. But there is a Remastered version of the Look already.. And I heard it on a Swedish Tv4 Show back in 90 when there was kind of a Release Party and Concert for the Joyride World Tour.. And I've been "LOOKing" for it ever since I heard it that day.. It would be amazing in Clubs and Discotheques all over.. And it's over 5.min. long, But I've never heard that whole song, cos the Tv Show didn't play all of it... I had it on VHS-Tape..lol.. I think that it can be on an "Album" called Rarity's or sumthing.. But that was never released here, and I've not been able to get it... Anyone have some info about it.. I wanna know..??

In my opinion good, but overpruduced. Especially the guitar in some parts. It's good, but the original is way better. They said, this remake will show us, how a few songs could sound on the new album (coming out at the end of this year or in 2016). It's okay, but I hope it's not that overproduced. But Roxette is one of my favorite bands since I heard their songs in the 80's for the first time. This won't change.

Może i oryginalne "The Look" było lepsze, ale i ten remake jest niezły (Nie zapominajmy, że Marie jest po ciężkiej chorobie i że Roxette nagrała ten remake 27 lat po oryginale, więc tacy młodzi to już nie są).
