A lot of people even go as far as to question why Elinalise would even side with Roxy over Sylphie (her granddaughter) in the first place. It’s as if either they didn’t understand the Elinalise character in the first place or assumed the character changed once she got involved with Cliff. And perhaps she did change a little as she admits she enjoys being in a relationship with one man devoted to her. But at her core she’s still the same person that let five guys rail her at one time and tried to get Roxy to join in on the fun - and that’s prevalent in more ways than one. Yes, Elinalise is Sylphie’s grandmother… but she’s only known about that for about a year at most. However, Elinalise and Roxy have been travel companions, adventurers, and eventually friends since they met at the missing persons board in Fittoa after the Teleportation Incident happened. The bonds Elinalise has with Roxy are incomparable to the ones with Sylphie simply because they haven’t had the time to be nurtured yet. And, considering who Elinalise is, her views on love (which she makes clear), and who she believes Rudy to be, it’s no surprise she would want Rudy to do right by both Sylphie and Roxy and take them both.

I mean the characters themselves have found happiness, putting their bad sides on the past and moved on. But some people just find it very hard to leave the past behind, because they have done some mistakes which became regrets and they want other people to suffer them as well. But I know a lot of good people who accept things and move on instead of participating in meaningless conversations and wasting everyone's time.

I like more this version in the part that Roxy have the idea of sleeping with Rudy, instead of Elenise telling her to do it, the other cut content well I suppose it can be fix other time I guess. Overall, like you said, bad or characters making mistakes doesn’t mean that the story is bad, it actually makes it more human. People makes mistakes and that’s a part of what we are, mistakes are there to make us better versions of ourselves, even if we make those same mistakes sometimes. And like I said, I like this version of the story because this gives Roxy more complexity and more pro active of her actions. And the best part is that Both Roxy and Rudy feel guilty for what they did and that understandable and logical. Then in the end they make a promise to marry if Silphy gives her blessing which is very good because it creates a more honest and healthy relationship.

If people aren't happy with Roxy, who is one of the 3 girls that had a huge impact on Rudy's life, help Rudy get over this depression hump and becoming his second wife, then can't wait to see how they'll react later on in the story.

Being a light novel reader I was wondering how they would handle this in the anime… honestly I think it was done very well, I really felt Roxy truly cared for Rudy and you could feel the emotion when she was asked to be a Greyrat.

MT started off showing how cheating wrecked Rudy's family and almost got Lilia and Aisha killed to now Rudy gets to do it with what will probably be zero consequences because *main character harem trope.* (No, I haven't bread the manga, but I kinda doubt this won't follow the trope.) Rudy needs to learn to appreciate non-sexual relationships with women. Making his relationship with Roxy sexual devalues their relationship as teacher and student. Something similar is true with Eris, although in that case, the matter at hand is that Eris needs to learn that if she is truly Rudy's friend, she doesn't need to be his equal or his lover. Making this into a harem means all these character arc needs will never actually get resolved, and there's your bad writing.

Let’s think rudy is a perv sure but eris was grasping at straws from losing her family thus forced herself onto rudeus realizing he liked her body. Then with sylphy it was the nudge from luke & ariel mostly to a point sylphy gave the aphrodisiac at a time of rudy’s depression at having ED. Now we have roxy who pulled a eris except the fundamental difference was roxy took advantage when rudeus was down w/ good intentions. A three person relationship throws people off I think because from our cultural perspective you either have a patriarchal structure where the man seems to be taking whatever he wants from two women, or you have two men in a power struggle to please one woman. Of course it's more complicated and nuanced than a traditional marriage, which I think most people would rather just avoid dealing with. However, in fiction (key word), you can write the characters to perfectly balance each other out and everyone be happy. In the show if Rudy is able to please two women while respecting their boundaries and working for their best interest then why shouldn't he?

How could Rudy even "groom" Roxy? You might be able to argue that with Sylphie or Eris, given that Rudy's longer term consciousness makes him "older" (I don't, as I think their relationships develop fairly organically given the circumstances), but for Roxy, if you count his previous life, they're the same age. You could even argue that given Rudy's (still) lesser maturity, that she's the one who was grooming him.
