Neither are legends. Moyes relegated Sunderland without an ask, and no PL club would ever hire Hodgson. Hodgson couldn't keep Watford up by the way

Sunderland we’re falling apart hence the back to back relegation. Hodgson took Fulham to the Europa league final, and moyes took West Ham to the semis, consistently finishing in Europe with Everton and West Ham until this ssn they are legends not greats but still are good managers

😂Legends . More like respected Premier League Managers who may enjoy the odd cup run and top half finish. I would like to see Moyes West Ham win a trophy because I think he deserves it but the Man Utd job was just too big for him at the time.

I absolutely adore Roy Hodgson, one of my favorite managers in the game. I am from Bulgaria and my earliest (and dear to my heart) football memory is from the 1994 World Cup in USA where Roy Hodgson was managing Switzerland. I was 8-ish back then... 37 now and the man is still doing it. Legend for me.

Roy has had such an interesting managerial career. Managed 22 clubs in 8 different countries, gave Javier Zanetti his Inter debut, and Ronaldo called him his best manager at Inter.

I remember Roy being England manager the day of the England vs France match at Wembley, a week after the terror attacks in Paris. He went the extra mile, speaking some French in the press conference and representing our country with class and intelligence after such a terrible event. He's an old school gent.

Moyes HAD to take that United job. Only problem was that it was a poison chalice. The squad was done and fergie knew it. Nobody knows how it would've ended up if he had time, but either way the lad has worked his way right to the top. As a scouser from the red half its still not hard to say he smashed it.

I honestly thought Moyes wouldn't be able to recover from his short time at United, but it was clearly an overreaction on my part. Glad he's plodded on and is back doing well. Great, solid middle of the table manager. He'd probably do well at one of the big clubs now. He was ripped from being a part of the furniture of Everton and thrust into United maybe too quickly.

Good to see woy wodgson back ! The jolly old man of english football. And as for david moyes, what a useless stubborn boring failure of a manager. Never learns from his mistakes. From a west ham fan. Funny how joe cole mentions he saw woy wodgson down the kings road in chelsea, cos i saw woy a few months back near the same area walking down the road that leads to stamford bridge. Moyes is the biggest scammer ive ever seen. How has this guy got job after job. Hes a gerrard/lampard manager, loses majority of his games and gets praise. Spent over a billion on transfers and has never been close to winning anything. Roy is a legend though for sure
