Bless Roy man. I am a Toon fan. He doesn't give a F and speaks the truth pure forefront and what really matters. Considering his age, you can tell he just loves Football and he lives it. Never has he been considered apart of that crop that are "old dinosaurs". He has proven he has adapted to the modern game and today he didn't have his best creative players like Eze specifically and Olise. Big Respect to Roy, he is a Gentleman.

Roy speaks so well he’s a real football man and seems a even better human being absolutely no complaining about Newcastle or taking anything away from Newcastle he was just so disappointed in his team’s performance which is totally understandable, if only more managers like Eddie Howe and Roy were around and not complaining about little things in the game the game of football would be in a better place. Roy showing his class and I wouldn’t expect anything else from a gentleman. 👏👏👏

EVERYWHERE he has managed he has added something - a real football man, honest and with an incredible knowledge. The usual destruction of england managers struck him as well but unlike some, he has the nous to come back stronger.

Thank god for this man showing Klopp and co how to be a class act when losing a game where u didnt have a sniff. I think any club comin up to st james will struggle if they dont have the mentality and organisation needed. NUFC we dont need any fancy superstars we make them

Love Roy, shouldn’t have parted ways with palace beforehand because he had steadied them but she played a part in that. The beauty of Roy is he’s old school. One of the best as well still in the game. The media are muppets at times and Roy handles them excellently. Palace are a tough cookie sometimes but they haven’t quite got the quality in depth. They do leak goals and that’s been clear against Vila etc when they face a top up for it side away from home they do fall apart. Defenders gave up with the goals yesterday was sad to see but they weren’t going to get anything. I think they need ti add but they don’t have the big bank balance. Eduard I wanted at Newcastle when he was at Celtic he’s a handful. Mateta is a good finisher. They’ve a few others Olise and Eze. They’ll be fine. As for us, Murphy was up for it cause he hasn’t been starting matches that’s three assists this season already and Murphy was top class last season look what he did to Tottenham and Kieran smashed it as per.

Well that depends on the owners and what they need in a club. He steadies most ships and shuts his gob , would easily have let him clean up NUFC instead of clueless Bruce before wor Eddie just shattered everyones belief about a club. Now Bruce though, thats an awful dinosaur of a manager
