Thursday 19th May 2016 and this RAF A400M "grizzly" had ONS down on BLK33 at Edinburgh Airport, so I grabbed some shots and video from the Private Road before work. Got a heads-up of an 11am departure so headed down to "the mound" in the Ingliston showground to get her departing. WHAT A MACHINE! Check the props as they turn in opposite directions.

I seen this flying over from Fife seeing the size of it and the 4 engines left me slightly parlexed to what it was because I could find it on flighradar24. This explains everything hahah really good catch and great video 😊😊

Great catch :) The RAF call it the Atlas instead of Grizzly.

+lowlevelRAF Yeah wikipedia states its Alas for production models and grizzly for prototype models, my bad. I much prefer grizzly mind you.

Fuck off! European Planes like Airbus/Eurocopter are the best! The largest passenger plane on the world is the Airbus 380, Boeing Dreamliner is nothing than a little can of beer with wings! Eurocopter has the fastest helicopter on the world, Eurocopter X3! Second best planes are Russians, Antonov, largest and most powerful cargoplane in the world; Antonov 225, largest and most powerful helicopter; Mil Mi 26! Boeing Chinook is just a tiny tincan! USA stuff are just pieces of shit!
