Saw them in a super small venue in Paris a few years back, it was fuckin' intense! I was literally no more than 2 meters away from them. Amazing the power that just two guys can pack!

Josh Homme school of singing ... It's obvious that QOTSA are a huge influence for this band. 2:34 - 2:45 may perfectly be in Songs for the Deaf.

Don't want to take anything from Royal Blood, cause they do sound as good live as in the studio, but when I read your comment, in my mind all I could think was, has this person not heard Muse at all live. :D You should check them out then, for sure! ;)

The reason it sounds exactly like the studio is because they're supported by a pre-recorded backing track with a lot of additional vocals.

My dad bumped into Ben thatcher in the toilets of the Brighton centre during jack white. He then saw him again in Sainsbury’s a week later :) Mike & Ben were at the back seating area during the show. They wouldn’t wave back at me haha

To the people saying blah blah other guitarist do it, thats kinda the point he doesn't have the flexibility to just use the higher string, he has to focus on his hand when he jumping to the top of the neck, he has to focus on his pedalboard and not too mention playing bass while singing is surprising harder than singing while playing guitar. Apart from back up singers he is reliable for all the melody that takes alot of skill. Rant Over
