The cafe racer build just got better with these custom CNC switches. The aluminum finish really enhances the look of Mr. Bling as I don’t like plastic on my bikes or cars. Top notch quality and an upgrade to on/off headlight functionality. The turning signal switches can be better designed as it might take some time to get used to the clicks specially while wearing gloves.
Please give it a like if you liked the video, comment by telling me how I did, and subscribe for more!

Those are the best looking switches I have seen. Have been trying to find a video like yours to see about fitting them and what they are like How does the indicator switch feel, is it positive or not, some are awful like on some of the Triumphs In the UK new vehicles have to be set up with the lights always on, it is the law, but I must admit to installing an off switch into the wiring on an older bike as I had aux lights fitted which were always on, when I took it in for the MOT (test) I made sure the switch was taped in the on position for thee headlights. They are not allowed to remove tape here. BTW, I think you have installed the clutch too far to the right, it should be next to the switchgear, then have the phone mount It looks all wrong to me, but, perhaps you prefer it that way? Sorry if I missed something Thanks for the video

Thanks for watching @blackskunk9034, the switches are great, checks all the boxes for me as far as looks and functionality. Only thing bugs me is the signal slide button as the clicking mechanism is tiny and so close as sometimes it’s hard to find neutral between left and right signal. I wish that button was little bigger. It takes some time to get used to them but will definitely not recommend these with winter thick gloves. Goal on this build for me is cafe racer look to make everything custom and slim, not everyday riding bike. And the clutch lever is not installed too far, this is not the final placement as it shows in the video, as I still had right side switch to tackle with throttle housing/grips and new levers as well. The levers should aline with the grips and should be inside of the handle bar length. Thanks for the feedback thou!

@@GrewalsGarage OK, thanks for coming back to me. I had a feeling the indicator switch would be a problem, such a shame. I will keep looking then, good luck

actually the reason why most motorcycle has no off switch for headlight is for added safety features. so even on day time you don’t have to switch it on so your more visible to other vehicle. so i think its better to have your light on at all times.

Thanks for watching JCML VLOG, I agree with your POV as far as visibility. But I feel like if 60watts headlight is making my presence on the road then I need to change my riding style lol.. at the end of the day I’m defensive rider but more functionality is key for me, being able to turn that on/off is a win win.

@GrewalsGarage It's a safety thing, not a functionality thing, Get an LED bucket if you're worried about the wattage.

Hey Grewal, did you ever post a part 2 for the right side switchgear + throttle assembly? I'm working on a similar upgrade and would love to see the process
@GrewalsGarage
@GrewalsGarage 6 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching @supraman320 unfortunately didn’t get to film the second part for the right side. However, I’m using the domino kit for the throttle where you will need new cables as well since the stock ones will not work. The right switch wiring is easy as I showed towards the end of the video. You can email me grewalsgarage@gmail.com for any questions or if you need quick video of the setup. Also checkout my KZfaq shorts, I have posted some related to the throttle setup! Thanks for watching!

@GrewalsGarage awesome, yes the domino xm2 is what I purchased as well, I think thw switchgear wiring should be fine but I'm a little nervous about the the throttle tube/cable replacement, want to make sure I get that process right
