It's never to late to start putting a little plate on each start at say number 5. And when you come in contact with the others retro fit a plate . Fantastic bikes.

I think it was a certain Scot that gave you your fame..., wow, look how bad expetiences can sometimes turn out good. Your story must be the Success of the Century. Thanks for all the joy, life lessons and entertainment that I and many many more viewers have had since your YT fame took off. Stay safe and carry on doing what you do best.., being Craig Jones.

I came across the most magnificent BMW R80 a few years ago in a thread (Bikebrewers). Inspirational and it is yours. Bread and butter is one thing, art is another. I have this bike as a bookmark on my computer, and when all things seem lacklustre, up comes the image of your BMW, and I marvel at the beauty in the world. I have an R75-5, of which I love, however, I can't describe how fantastic I think this bike is. Thanks. Doing what you want to do is going to be mad. All the best.

Hey Craig, Put a badge and number on it now while you have it in your shed. The others will eventually come back again and you can do them then. But start doing it. By the time your up-to #100, you will only be missing the odd one or two and their value will go up exponentially (that’s a bug curve going up). Do it Craig, start living the dream now !

Would love to see a nut and bolt restoration Craig! A war model or the likes would be a great few episodes not many out there (bikes or restoration videos)!

Indeed! An old well-worn Norton WD 16H would do the trick. Fixer-uppers and "shed finds" are still semi-affordable yonder in the UK, and parts not too nightmarish to come by. The 16H may not have been Norton's sexiest model, but it helped win the War and afterwards, as military surplus, got Britain back on the road.

Pretty little bike and stood the test of time. Never too late to start numbering your builds, maybe a blacksmith type makers stamp or just a number on the frame somewhere. I often bemoaned that I didn't number the first 10 years of custom knives I used to make, but hay, the last 20 years or so of them were all numbered.

Looking forward to the turbo bike build. Really enjoyed what I've seen of it so far. The one bike I'm really itching to see what you come up with is your Russian bike. But I'll be patient lol. Everything you've done so far has been worth the wait. I bet the person who won the GS is still twitching with anticipation. Thanks for the great channel. Way better than the oyb crew. Be safe.

Wonderful looking machine. You could still make the numbered badges, send them to the owners and start numbering the rest. Oh, superb idea, get owners together for a cookout get together/ride and snap photos of them all lined up.

there must be folk who watch here, or read the facebook group that work oin the industry where a name plate / date of birth could be created easily. whether its a riveted plate with a name, number, birthday stamped on or something similar, i think itd be a great addition to your builds. stick it out of the way so its not in yer face but to have a nice riveted on plate would be brilliant... your're a true artist craig, whether you think so or not ;)

Well ! You think 1:28 what you think. But your motorcycles are masterpieces of creation. And by what I have seen, through your videos, you are maybe a one in a million bike builder, who put so much thought and effort into each and every build you probably have ever done. Yes ! You need to start putting your own personal monograms on every machine that you conjure up. Your customers can pay you for your time but no one can ever pay you for your creativity. History holds testimony, that many shed build machines have become masterpieces of creation. How I wish I could visit you one day and maybe afford a " DOGHOUSE " custom bobber Royal Enfield.

Hi Craige, you say you wished you had numbered them. What is stopping you from getting a load of designed numbered badges, and tracking them down, you must have some pics, where people would recognize the bikes to the owners. then arrange a get-together of some sort to fix the badges, to the appropriate bikes, either bond or Rivett. just a thought. I reckon your viewers would get involved in tracking them down. most of all keep doing what you do best. love the Vids mate. Cheers John.

God those things are pretty. Every one of them. Kudos geezer. Edit, I know my way around custom and classic and vintage bikes. I've been working on Brit bikes for over 40 years. The Enfield Bullet engine was always (apart from trials) an engine that flew under the radar, but imo, was always one of the most attractive singles. A magnificent timing cover, possibly never bettered in apearances. Some design features ahead of the game at the time too. Pre unit but bolted up, fixed sprkt centres and primary chain adjustment by a slipper tensioner, all alloy chaincase instead of pressed steel, early use of alloy c/heads and then barrels. Early use of points/battery ignition on a single etc etc... Great bikes.

Love watching your clips, I've done a couple of Enfields and I think they are great. I've just converted a left hand sidecar to right hand. Good job to, the welding was dangerous like the Springer forks you was discussing a while back. Keep up the good work. 👍😎

@deaniversen3513 жыл бұрын
good grief those come out nice.. jeez like to have one to pop about town what not, man, I'll go grocery gettin on that, back pack, hale yea far as documentation and badges you can go back and make the badges,a dn documents everything you know, then create a registry that stays with your shop, and maybe you can put it online as well.. the owners you can send the certificates of authenticity, the badges and paperwork to, from then on hand it over with the bike.. if there is enough demand for these they might be worth pumping out in numbers and shipping em off? obviously have to be sold with limited warranties and so forth.. maybe hire a crew to build em, hale you dune all the hard work why let it die? these are very nice and would go over big in India and Asia, oh boy...
