Joining the Military is an incredible way of upscaling your knowledge, experience, resilience, and much more. If I had never joined the Royal Marines I don't know where I would be today but I do believe I would be much worse for it.
Do not listen to the voices that tell you the military is for people who just obey orders. Royal Marines are called to be thinking soldiers, I would never carry out an unlawful act because I'm told to. You are made to think.

Hats off to you to you brother. I was once like you until I've realised how important time and progress is to us as men. I've embarked on my journey to join the Royal Marines as a Common Wealth citizen but I don't know or have any friends or relatives in UK to include in my application. I would really appreciate it if a friend from UK would help me out with their address for me to come stay with them. Just for a period of 3-6 months before I settle in on base to start my new career.

What shoes do you usually use for training mate, any recommendations brand wise?

At the moment I’m wearing Altras as they are wide toe box which I prefer bro.
