He has been there both times we went to dig. That fella does a great job, and he has a good time with it, too.

Hey too funny, I noticed something else Craig said while talking to y’all about the opal I found two days earlier.. see how the hole is stretched out towards you? He mentioned he dug all day yesterday and found nothing.. That’s because I was about 3 feet from the wall back to the wall in the zone.. look where he expanded and notice he went the wrong direction 🤷‍♂️😊 that half broken down hump at the base of the wall on the left there is where he needed to follow up my digging. 😞 I feel bad, he got all juiced and ready to find something and missed by that much. Funny story, I was the second on that hole. The guy the day before missed it by 6 inches to the left.. 😅🤷‍♂️ It’s a roll of the dice where any of it is. I feel blessed. And it’s super neat y’all were there two days later. I think I’ve watched your video 3-4 times now.. 😅🤷‍♂️ Y’all should come out opening day 2023. ✌️ I miss Craig. 😊 he’s the other reason I’ve rewatched your video. He’s a funny and very intelligent guy to hang out digging opal with isn’t he? 😊✌️

@@chains369 🙃✌️ Hello 👋 Small world. I’ll hopefully be going back in June now. Brain surgery here next month. Hopefully I’ll be recovered to dig again this season before it gets super hot. Thanks for subscribing too. 🏆👍 Have a blessed day y’all.

Thats awesome! My husband found a small limb casting and we found a lot of opalite and petrfied wood. Next time I am hoping for at least a jewelry sized piece.

It was a lot of fun. It was something that I have wanted to do my whole adult life. We only found small things but it was worth the experience and we will go back soon.

I heard look for the limbs, they are tubular and more noticeable especially if you start using a metal rake to spread it thinner

I saw that place years ago when it was 75 bucks a day to look. But I was a 1000 miles away. Now I'm closer but it sounds like it's a fortune to look now

It is $75 a day to dig the tailings. It is $190 a day to dig into the bank. It was a lot of fun and I would like to go back and dig the bank. Maybe this spring.
