The Dutch version of the controversial book 'Endgame', about Harry and Meghan, has been pulled from shelves after it appeared to name a senior Royal at the centre of the racism row.
Royal journalist Rick Evers reveals that there were two names of senior Royals mentioned in the now-pulled Dutch version of the new book 'Endgame' about Harry and Meghan.

This is damaging to the king. because the ''translation'' is not a error. But a cover up by the palace. They know/ knew. When these passages comes out. It may look Charles as racist. So the palace demanded to ''delete'' the passages in the final version that comes in the shops. Harry said In Good Morning = that it is not rasicme perse but pre judging. And that is what the dutch version is saying and no one wants a pre judging king

It wasn't specifically about Archie though...the alleged conversation was made in reference to 'future children'...and my 2 cents worth...is that it's perfectly natural to wonder about such things within mixed race marriages. H & M have (imo) weaponised a probable innocent comment & twisted it into something that was never intended.

You’re missing a major point of what they alleged in the Oprah interview, which is that there was “concern” for Archie’s skin colour and how dark he would be. Wondering about what a child may look like is not the same as being worried a child’s skin will be dark.

My grandchildren are half white European and half Hindu Indian, and both families speculated about what the babies skin tone would be, hair colour and so on. It was completely normal. No one took offence at all. This whole thing has been blown out of proportion.

I am British Ex-Pat living in the U.S. and whilst I fully support the right to free speech, it comes with a responsibility. People who make accusations, wantonly, should be able to prove or back them up, otherwise there is no consequence to mud- slinging and the damage it can cause. There has to be some form of redress.

I think Harry totally didn't understand our first amendment right to free speech when he called it 'bonkers'. I think he thought it meant you could say anything you want about anyone - which is NOT the case. It's meant to protect people who disagree with say, the government or a religious leader or some such. You can't just make things up and attribute them to 'sources' without proof and ruin a person's reputation ... that is slander and you will be sued and punished.

That is not a translation error. This was a strategy. The same is true for the release in Italy . Names do not create the possibility for translation . Names are the same. There was a rumor that his book delay was due to parts that had to be removed for legal reasons.

A Dutch reporter has already said it is not possible a translation error. It was a huge cockup and was definitely not intentional. Scobie and the publishers are looking at a waterfall of lawsuits and counter-lawsuits.

Why would anyone tell a journalist/writer sensitive personal information if they didn't want him to use it? The only possible way H&M can attempt to convince us all that this book was nothing to do with them is to publicly dissociate themselves from it, and to condemn the content as the biased, mendacious drivel of a raving misogynist, which it clearly is. But I doubt they will. To date, they have never publicly condemned the absolutely awful things the Sussex Squad have said online in their support about the RF, either. So the implication is clear that they approve.

My opinion is that Scobie deliberately and with the help of Harry and Meghan, placed the name in the book. When scobie gave his explanation, he was smirking. I’m convinced he did it on purpose.

I’ve been bemused for years now as to why the media keep saying (as has just happened on your show) that a royal raised the skin colour of the baby question WHILE SHE WAS PREGNANT. Now, she did say that on the Oprah interview. In fact she said it was brought up several times while she was pregnant. However when Oprah later in the interview raised this with Harry. Harry said, it was ONCE and that was when he FIRST STARTED DATING HER. Why are the media calling Harry a liar by supporting his wife’s version of events. And the icing on the cake. She herself said it was NEVER said to her. Harry told her it was said. Yet the media as I said have for years now repeatedly run with her story not Harry’s. The fact that British media in the main are the ones reinforcing this is intriguing. Do you hate your own country so much you’re trashing the reputation of your monarchy by believing a cable tv actress over a Prince of your own country? If so you should maybe see if you can find a better country to live and work in.
