You’ve got it right there, he’s having to say goodbye to his Mummy with the world watching on. I can’t even clearly remember when I lost my dad and the weeks following, it was just a haze and I didn’t have to do it with the world watching on.

I bet not. He and Camilla went to visit the queen knowing that they had COVID. They announced it the next day. Queen got COVID. AFTERWARDS the old lady was never the same after she got COVID. Now she is dead.

I'm not sure the extent of what we'll miss has even sunk in yet. To think to live one's life totally in the public eye, being the head of the common wealth and supporting countless charities... For all the glitz and fame, the toys most people dream of and a jewellery box to make most pirates green with envy. There was no room for her to get it wrong, your marriage is perfect and always on point, your children behave no matter how long they have to stand on parade, and you don't complain heaven forbid you from having more than a simple headache!! She was never free, free to slide off track, free to hate your horrible in-laws, free just to be 😊 Not the life for me, I'm a hot mess 90% of the day... I wish them all the best and now her majesty can run barefoot through a meadow with her one true love... God rest her soul 😇👑

I feel very sorry for his loss but he has a loving wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, nephews and nieces and money. I lost my mother last year. She was all I had in the world having been fatherless from the age of ten. I have no spouse, no children, no grandchildren, no siblings, no nephews and no nieces and no money to escape a place that is filled with tragic memories. At least, his life is not as tragic as the lives of some of his subjects. I feel very sorry for his loss as his mother was a lovely woman much like mine but some of us lose the one person we loved in the world and we have no one but God to help us to bear the loss and the pain.

Most grateful for being allowed to see the full ceremony of Committal, with its symbolism, continuity and all else it represents...Steeped in centuries of history and undying tradition together with the more human side of the immediate family of the late Monarch, it really was like no other funeral I have ever seen, for either Royal or commoner, but then, this WAS the Queen, it wasn't really meant to be like any other...There hasn't been anything like it for 70 years or so...And I am sure that even at the last funeral of a Sovereign, no such detail was even available, or possible to be seen by the casual observer...

When they zoomed in on King Charles face I noticed his eyes watering up. I thought I was seeing things. I think between the song and looking at his mother laying there it kicked in she's really gone. He lost both parents back-to-back but that's mom. The saying, "Heavy is the head that wears the crown." is definitely true. 😢

Even though Charles has done a lot of bad in the past, I still feel bad bc he, his siblings, and the country had lost a mother, leader, and ruler. He was holding a lot of his emotions during filming which can be hard especially if it's about someone who is close to you, a loved one, or family member. May queen Elizabeth ii rest in peace. 🕊

i’ve come to tolerate charles in his senior years. i don’t believe he’s the same man compared to over 30 years ago, nearly no one is the same person. i feel bad that royal protocol calls to not show much emotion, and the look on his face is heartbreaking.
