In this video I will cover the following aesthetics: royalcore, kingcore, queencore, princesscore, princecore, and regencycore. In this video, I’ll be discussing "what is royalcore", the history, core values, characteristics, color palettes, and fashion of each category. Due to my limited knowledge in history, there may be some inaccuracies in my historical information. If you want to do more research, I strongly recommend it. Please note that I also offer clothing alternatives for men, nonbinary, and more conservatively dressed people. Royalcore, not any other aesthetic should be limited to just women.

personal note: this video took me over a month to make…needless to say that if this flops, I probably won't make many of these aesthetic videos haha. Sorry for being MIA, I’ve focused all of the little energy I’ve had the past months for this video. Unfortunately while I was making this, I was still getting used to my new apartment, and so the quality of things such as the voiceover isn’t the best quality (I actually couldn’t find my voiceover mic until a few days before I finished the edit haha). I don’t say this a lot, but it would really mean a lot if you could like/share/comment. These videos take an incredible amount of research and energy to make, and every little bit helps keep me motivated to make them for you guys! Omg thank you for your comment 🥺💕 I try to include options for anyone I can, it’s so easy to feel left out from most fashion videos out there. I struggle with finding options for myself too and I would hate for someone to watch these videos and feel left out/forgotten/disappointed

You're welcome, glad you found this helpful! I know princesscore and the overall more feminine aesthetics are much "trendier" to make content about, the other aesthetics often get ignored unfortunately!

Love the video & this aesthetic! ✨🎀 I think it was great for you to be so inclusive for hijabs or enby style. The only note I'd give is that you never mentioned Marie Antoinette by name (as her time period is apparently too late for Royalcore) but you showed footage from the movie at least a dozen times. No hate, I'm just acknowledging she would be a great example, as she was quite the fashionista! 💅🏻

Good point, I absolutely agree to the point of her being a fashionista and a great example for royalcore! 💗However, the reason I used footage of the movie was more for the purpose of keeping an audience entertained with visual imagery from movies etc rather than just static images. 😊 I try to stay consistent with historical accuracy when it comes to the script, but sometimes, the visuals should serve some great fashion, even if not from the scripted time period💅🏻✨

Hi, I would check out independent brands like Teuta and Lirika Matoshi, or then slightly bigger brands like Lucy In The Sky, Reformation etc. Hope this helps!

We were all so wrong haha, I also had a very different image of it in my head before I started looking into it. So many aesthetics stem from so many different points in history, it's quite fascinating how much more there is to discover 😊
