Thank you for incredibly helpful videos which I watched last night. I am an all over the place stitcher but have followed your method this morning and created order out of chaos. I feel so much better and more confident. Thank you very much.

Thank you for the clear tutorial. I have been following your group on Facebook but haven't committed to trying until tonight :) I hope we aren't missing anything on video #6 because it didn't upload. Happy stitching!

Thankyou. I'm in the process of trying to find number 6. It's vanished for some reason. Even vanished off my laptop. May have to just do a quick redo recording of number 6. It was talking through how to stitch parked threads 😞 x

Question:. Is there ever a problem with "squashed" stitches when placing a Stitch that is surrounded by four other stitches? Also, how are stitches ended when I am on the last tower to the right? Thanks for the tutorials! I have watched them twice (except for 6) and will watch it when uploaded. I am working on my first HAED (All Dogs Go to Heaven 2) and was getting aggravated over stitch 1 stitch, park, rethread....stitch 1 or 2 stitches, park, rethread. All I was getting done was threading needles. I tried cross country and was making mistakes, resulting in frogging a bunch of stitches. Then, you came along! You have definitely taught this old Mammaw something! Vivian Ann living 100% off grid on the side of the mountain in northeast Tennessee, USA

I don’t see part 6. Could you include a link for it? Also, do you know if anyone who uses this method with ungridded fabric?

This series was incredibly helpful. I'd love a visual of how to work on the second row of towers. There are so many threads in the dungeon! What are the best strategies for stitching around all those threads?
@RoyalStitcher
@RoyalStitcher Жыл бұрын
Hi, thankyou for asking. Stitch parked threads first, starting with from the bottom, this way the parked threads won't get in the way because all stitches will be going down, then once all parked threads are stitched you can complete tower filling in the unfinished stitches xx

Thank you so much for these videos! I can’t wait to try this out. I have a question about the dungeon area: is that two vertical blocks (like the tower) or just one?

Thank you for these tutorials. When I first started cross stitching(35+ years ago) there were no videos etc. and I stitched left to right all the way across. Since returning my brain just doesn't seem to allow me to do that😜. I'm working on very confetti heavy chart so I go skydiving for the ninja stitches or cut short thread. Now I've seen your videos I shall try your method although my brain would want to go right and not down. Plus I'm not sure I want all the parked threads, why are there so many parked? Thanks again. Stay safe

Thank you for your tutorial! Quick question... when you have finished your first tower, do you then move to stitch your east tower, or do you then start stitching your dungeon? So how do you move along on your pattern? Many thanks!
@RoyalStitcher
@RoyalStitcher Жыл бұрын
Stitch east tower. Once a row is complete I then repeat process starting with the dungeon which is now towers 😀

What if I stitch starting at the bottom and not the top. Can I kinda change the name from Dungeon to Attic and put it above instead of below so I can work from bottom to top, etc.?

I really enjoyed this. I would like to see you stitch through the dungeon stitches (imagining that you finished your top row). The idea of handling those parked threads intimidates me. Moving them to stitch between them. Thank you! :)
@RoyalStitcher
@RoyalStitcher Жыл бұрын
I will be doing that at some point. But for now if you stitch your parked threads first there will be no threads getting in the way, no manoeuvring needed. Just start with your bottom parked thread and work downward. Because you park in first available stitch there will be no stitches need upwards. Hope this helps xx

@@RoyalStitcher this may sound silly but it really had not occurred to me to start at the bottom. So much easier. Makes total sense. Thank you for your kind reply. I have just started The Stitching Shelf and am using Royal Rows. Loving it so far but was threading my way through the tangle of threads. Lol.

When I do a parked thread stitches, do I repark the thread in the next dungeon or tower; or do I end the parked thread in its block only?
@RoyalStitcher
