The British Royal Family, an institution where stability, consistency and duty come above all else, and where tragedy and turmoil pose a great risk. Over the last half century, the reputation and stability of this great institution has faced great challenges, through death and divorce, the palace has been rocked to its core, and recovering has not always been easy. The great tragedy of King George VI’s death in 1952 saw his daughter ascend to the throne and become Queen Elizabeth II. A Queen who would later be known as one of the most dutiful, stoic and stable monarchs in British history, as well as the most beloved. But in spite of the extraordinary reputation she would come to earn, there were significant challenges she would need to overcome. Queen Elizabeth’s reign was littered with tragedies, but it would be in the way she coped with them that would reveal her exceptional attitude towards her constitutional role as monarch.

Prince Philip was a hero in my eyes! He was man enough to be a loyal support and devoted husband to the Queen for over 70 years! It takes a rare, real man with a self knowledge of himself and his manhood to dedicate his life to the support of a woman whom he walked a few steps behind in everything they did . I believe they shared a deep love and respect for each other that is stronger than any role or position one has. He never came across as less a man or less than his wife! They were a blessing to each other!!

To be fair, they didn’t love each other, they hardly knew each other. And he was in love with the love of his life who his family wouldn’t let him marry. I’m sorry Charles and Diana had to be unhappy together, and sad about Diana tragically dying, but I’m glad to have William around and I’m glad that Charles got to be with his true love in the end.

I was born in 1952, as the Queen was officially crowned in 1953. I had lived through all our queens life, and when the Christmas tv recordings came on, we really felt as if we had the Queen with us,in our homes, and a part of our family too. To me she was realky marvellous, training how to do basic mechanics on the vehicles she drove through the war, he impeccable horse riding, and I was always thrilled to see her ride side saddle, which as also a lover of horses and have tried riding side saddle, can assure you it is extremely difficult to do,do well, and keep an upright position in. It’s sad that we never see any other Royal, not even Princess Anne rude like that, so sadly another tradition seems to have passed with her, last year ut was also my 70th Jubilee, and I wrote and told her I was sharing hers with her, but how much more spectacular hers would be by comparison. As always she somehow found time to drop me a short note wishing my many Happy Returns, and said I was welcome to share her fireworks as the poor corgis had to be shut away to the finish. I feel extraordinarily blessed to have lived my life with this remarkable woman as my Queen, she gave more than her all, and I’m just glad she is now reunited with her husband, sister and much loved parents . We will never be lucky enough to see her like again,,,we were truly lucky and Honoured. God rest her soul. 💐😘🙏🙋‍♀️💕👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🫶🌹 Thankyou Maam for Everything and more!.

@@KourttneyL - Charles was doing what most of the Royal men before him did, marry the young virgin, have the heir and the spare, and have mistresses. That was the way it was done. Occasionally, they’d marry the one they loved, like Victoria, George V and George VI and Elizabeth II. Diana should have been advised much better than she was. Her sister dated Charles, she knew, she should have told Diana don’t expect the fairytale. 13 years isn’t too bad an age difference later on, it’s too much at 20 and 33. He was experienced she was naive, she was city, he was country. They were oil and water. Charles was basically ordered to take a bride and procreate, and Camilla was not on the approved bride list. The Queen Mum and Lady Fermoy threw Diana to the wolves. I don’t completely blame Charles, I actually blame Diana too………how stupid can you be?

Society has opened the doors for children to stray away from their parents wishes. And parents have allowed their power to be diminished for the past 50 years. Letting children "be children" instead of teaching them how to become a responsible adult. Adulthood lasts much longer than childhood. Parents have a very limited time to get it right. And now we have adult children running around afraid to "adult".

How can you imagine and say that the queen and Philip are great they are murdering people and raising their kids to think it's ok to do so. They raised objects not children I believe Charles would have made such a wonderful husband to Diana and a wonderful father if he would have been raised by loving parents and being treated with respect and maybe Charles would have been able to let Diana know that he fell apart from her and not having to be so nasty towards her in the way he was to her. Diana was not the immature Charles character was towards his marriage but he was raised that way. The queen and Philip were responsible for the murder of three human beings in a car and what was left of the other human being in the car. Is this what you call beautiful beautiful people. Only GOD is our king and not humans who have not a notion of how to love. I don't think Charles even loves Camilla he loves his crowns I don't think he even loves his parents. The crown is what's important behind those walls and their immiage I think Charles was raised a very lonely boy who really doesn't know what love is. And Diana was also raised with not knowing love. But I believe she really wanted to be a piece of the man she married and she lost her virginity to the man she waited for and had to beautiful sons and grandchildren I believe and it looks like William is following in his father's attitude towards his wife Kate we know he plays around on her. He is making her life miserable and treats her bad behind those walls.she is exhausted. But is that what you're honestly is and love. There's a movie called the man in the iron mask by Leonardo the... Watch that it's right up your lives lol and blessings to all of you behind those walls. Please William don't be like that show that you learned a different love from your loving mother Diana her death was ordered and set up by the crowns every one in that car ment nothing to the crowns neither did you or harry I believe they would have killed harry sooner or later if they were still alive love your wife Catherine William she's a loving mother and wife to you. Show that you learned something about love and bring something different to the crowns your going to where very soon and show your father and grandparents that love does exist under the crowns your going to be the last of the existing king and queen show the people that believed in all of you that you value love and family Lol and blessings to you and harry and carry a heart William that you're beautiful mother did not have a chance to do. We must never forget that members of the British royal families are human beings like all the others. They are not reptiles, they are PEOPLE like all the others, although they have many more duties and responsibilities. So, being warm and kind human creatures, they have the right to make mistakes, have their disappointments, their heights and falls... We must never blame them for any faults we think they have! I adore Lady Diana! She was an angel sent to Earth and taken back! But I also adore the love King Charles III and Queen Camilla have always had for each other! So I think we should never contradict one member of the British royal family to another! We must be fair and grateful to have all these gorgeous people into the life of Britain, the Commonwealth AND THE WHOLE WORLD!

They got it badly wrong the whole world were grief stricken and wanted a public funeral to show their respects to lovely Diana. The RF were made to put on a good act to appease the nation. I will concede Tony Blair did a good job but rumour has it the RF have never forgiven him especially for calling Diana The People,s Princess.

Charles and Diana were pushed into the marriage by both of their families, in Charles’ case especially by the Queen Mum. They had only met 13 or 15 times before they got engaged. Imagine that. And Prince Philip told his son he had to marry or or to separate to avoid damage to her reputation after such a short time? Rubbish.

His marriage required an aristocratic virgin, and by what I’ve seen/heard/read ‘at that time, there weren’t many to choose from.’ Diana was both, cowmilla was neither. If he hadn’t been playing around until he was 33 years old, it might have been different. But he did, and here we are. He has four heirs, cowmilla and he’s (wrongly) on the throne. He has everything he wants and Diana is dead.

This vid should really be titled, "Heartburn at the Palace". Elizabeth and Philip went off to Malta shortly after they became parents. Their marriage had been engineered by Philip's uncle, the pedophile and supreme egoist , "Lord Mountbottom" (as he was acerbically nick-named by his fellow naval officers) or, "Uncle Dickie" (as he was affectionally called by his unwitting family) They blithely left baby Charles behind with the Queen Mum and nannies, missing some of their son's most important milestones, as well as birthdays and holidays. This was all before she acceded to the throne. After her father died, she had even less time for her children (until Andrew, the "noble" Duke of York, arrived 🙄... and then she proceeded to spoil him rotten) turning them over to their father, a caustic man who lacked the temperament or interest for thoughtful, nurturing parenting. He, in fact, was a bully as well as a whinger. Is it any wonder that their children failed in their attempts at marriage? The "royal" court was much less concerned about the heartbreak resulting from feckless parenting and more about the heartburn "The Firm" was experiencing. Epilogue: Later, ER lost her disillusioned, hard-living younger sister, aged 71, then her mother, aged 101 and her husband, aged 99. After that, she lost her mind and appointed adulterer Camilla to the order of the garter, and gave her blessing for Camilla to be the Queen consort to her adulterer son. Lord knows Charles and Camilla had been consorting for decades... might as well give it the royal stamp of approval. Long Live the Kink!

The Royal family controls what’s being said about them. They control the narrative. He does t want the public to be reminded of his cheating trolling days. It’s easier to say they both cheated as if it takes the heat off of him. Camilla has grown on me to some degree but she is and never will be a Princess Diana. I do respect that she never took the title of Princess of Wales though. She did that out of respect for Diana. Or maybe she knew the public would come unglued if she did! Princess Diana didn’t lose her title of Princess but Charles demanded his mother take away HRH from her. The Queen was going to allow her to keep it until Charles got his pants in a bunch over it!

We don't know how the Queen and the government handled their relationship. Charles was forced into a marriage asap, and perhaps Dianna was not spoken to or advised as to what her life would entail. They are human and families like many others. Royal or not. Both Dianna and Charles had affairs. Men are not real good with strong and outwardly spoken women. So, Charles and Dianna weren't the only couple to have affairs. My heart goes out to Margaret. All the stuff that went on with others, and Margaret paid a high price.
