@CSpad

What kills me with Royce is he's gotta double standard on the entire Slaughterhouse situation. He's pissed at Crook & Joell, cause as he put it, he didn't have a say in the situation, ETc. They made that choice without involving him. But, he's not mad at Joe for signing the contract with Shady, without any intention of honoring the contract. Joe said that on the interview with Crook. I'm not talking bout any of the drama that happened between Em & Joe, after the fact. Crook was flying to Detroit to work with Royce, while Joe already decided he wasn't doing the project & didn't tell anyone in the group. You'd think he'd be pissed at Joe for putting him in that position, considering his friendship with Em. Why tf would Joe put Royce in that situation? Or why didn't Royce have that same kind of energy for Joe, after he found out Joe signed a deal with the 3 of them, that he no intentions of honoring. It just seems like a double standard & Royce is trying to have it both ways.

I don't think at the inception of contract with shady, Joe had that intention of not honoring. I believe the decision to not honor contract came at a later time. Correct me if I'm wrong or maybe you seen a video that I haven't.

@@marinorawmos9759 It just came out recently, but it was in the Pull up interview that Crook did with Joe. They didn't air that part when it 1st dropped, cause Joe was in Cali to ink his deal with Diddy & Revolt, Crook didn't think it was a good idea for Joe to put it out there that he signs contracts he has no intention to honor. But, Joe said str8 up that he didn't intend to honor it when he signed it. It's on yt.

clearly he agrees with or at least respects joes hesitancy. also thats not really an equal double standard, one is a refusal to do something under certain circumstances, the other is to basically destroy everything with only half of the groups authorization, and to diss the other half in the process. keep in mind who created the group in the first place too.

True about him getting slandered all the time for his decision to not rap against Lupe. If people watched Royce videos he chose not to rap against Lupe because of where battle was headed, it became more personal for Lupe than him because the lyrics weren't purely rap but personal to point where you can engage with Lupe and it end horribly not that he would lose but Royce seeing this can get serious serious where rap beef turns to real beef. Him taking high road was smart but at same time to "rap' fans he lost but I think he deserves more respect for that because A) Lupe started beef and b) Lupe didn't know context of Royce video so assumed Royce was trying to come after him. If beef was purely lyrical then Royce would of continue exchanging but hes more mature now and involved with mental health foundations so it would be bad if it was like "Hey you see Royce beefing with Lupe and really wanting to beef on the streets oh and hes also helping people mentally ", its a bad image for Royce so he took the right way despite the rap folks who want to be entertained by beefs that turn into real beefs.

That would assume that Crook and Joell are speaking the truth 100%. The fact that Royce and Joe are basically saying the same thing that contradicts what Crook and Joell are saying. We will never know what happened, there's 3 sides of every story. Considering I've heard Joe publicly state, that he would do skaughterhouse, just not on shady and that he wasn't releasing any more solo projects, but he was down to rap with slaughterhouse just not while still signed to Shady. It took 10 years for them to decide to get off shady, how is that Joe's fault. It was Crook that wanted to stay on shady.

@@PersonnetaimeGuy do we really know that, though. He broke the contract with Shady, because the business side of the deal wasn't right, which Joell actually agreed with on the IG live. So, there's one truth point for Joe. As I stated before, if you watch the my expert opinion interview, he clearly stated his stance on him rapping. He wasn't making anymore solo albums period. But he would still do slaughterhouse but not while they're signed to Shady. No one is asking Crook why he didn't wanna leave Shady for 10yrs? That was the only hold up, Joe didn't want to sign the deal Crook brought to the table, because he didn't like what was being requested for the advance money, giving up parts of the ownership rights to slaughterhouse. Also, can't turn a deal when you never actually saw the contract.

Royce you might never see this but man... A big part of your process to moving on is missing. You speak of the situation as theoretical ... Don't really acknowledge the hurt, don't really acknowledge your part in what went wrong (I think everyone had some wrong in it. Blowing up the group=wrong imo). Not even sure you wanna patch it up yet, and that's OK ... I think your fans see how easily y'all coulda finished off GH and gave something as a group and they expect this to be an easy resolution cuz of that. You know it's just setting too high of an expectation for a likely extremely complicated interrelationship... When you speak of equity tho, Joe (perceptiveness of outside, could be completely wrong!) more than took his 25% off the value of the group and by that point. It's really less than 75% of what it was and Joe's equity is far depleted from not allowing it to continue - so really it's Crook and Joell and they walk away with their 50% and you're the only one left. It's unfortunate man but you got 25% of a seriously devalued team and they with arms wide open tried to get ya on board. They didn't want their equity to expire more and likely felt the only way they'd get their bag was to blow it up. So ... Considering Joe took it past the point of no return they're kinda within their rights on the equity aspect of it ... I know that crosses personal lines but what personal lines were crossed allowing their pieces to devalue over the years... Like I get ya man and respect you ... Book of Ryan and Allegory are two of my top 20 last 10 years. So nothing but respect and none of that changes... I see both sides, I hope y'all can bridge it up ... And understand that them burning the house down represents they are hurt too... It's unfortunate it came to that to raise the level of communication.

I think this only works in a exclusively business exchange but when theres relationships established its more than "equity" and "value" when two members make a decision without the other two members knowing. Joe said he wasn't going to rap to US the public but behind closed doors to group he would rap once off shady and this was clarified in the math hoffa interview.
@ImOverEveryone
@ImOverEveryone 2 жыл бұрын
@@marinorawmos9759 equity is all theoretical in performance but if it came down to the divvy I truly feel that them leaving Shady for Joe pretty much did the value a big disservice then him not acting on the gesture was pretty surprising and also telling. At that point it's like well he got to use his piece to "go out on top" while every else sinks with the ship... Even though no value was realized from the full group, the constant inaction from Joe is really the depreciator here. I understand everyone's point in the matter I can't see how this was a surprise to anyone. I feel for Royce too .. on a personal level this sucks ... I think he looks that bad meets evil and says well Em never replaced me nor blew up the group because I fell out with him for some time you know, he just found a different path... The thing is though Eminem had very viable methods of getting his bag. The common theme here is so does Joe and one could argue so does Royce meanwhile Joell and Crook this is the best thing that they've ever been a part of and they're just looking at the car rotting away in the backyard sitting on cinder blocks like it takes four wheels to get this thing going so let's just cut the damn thing in half and get ours. I see it from the personal side of their direction too it's like you know hey let them try to find a way to move on because you know it's not that they need the money but it's probably very nice to have and kind of a waste over the years. .

Not really taking a side on the Slaughterhouse thing. It's a difference of perspective (but the same result). Royce is right to feel he didn't have a voice in it. Crook is right to feel that he needs to move on from stalemate for his own health. At the end of the day, it comes down to opinions about Joe Budden. Royce thinks Joe will rap again. But Joe verbally said no, which is what Crook and Joel had to go on. Now does Royce know something we don't? Maybe? Maybe not? But everything always hinged on Joe, and I don't really begrudge Crook and Joel from moving on.

Ryan saying everyone should go to therapy? If there is one thing to take away from listening to these 49:19 minutes, it's that. Especially at the rate our 'society' has evolved in terms of technological advances our brains are nowhere near evolved enough to absorb 'information' at the rate we are absorbing it today due to the way society is structured. 'Therapy' is like maintenence or workshop, think of it as a 'space' you enter take all the shit in your head pour it out and have someone help you sort through it all, what to keep, what to discard and so on. Therapy should honestly be promoted as a healthy living lifestyle.

You and joe Never cared about slaughterhouse it's evident What were you going to do let Joe finance the project lol so he can rip everybody off I'm telling you if you follow Joe in life You are going to mess up a lot of friendships and business relationships that's just the type of person he is And stop with the pity party let's stop acting like Joelle and crook wrote ether They put out a few songs talking about their looking about their side of the story they didn't dis nobody couple shots at Joe but he deserves it Royce acting like they wrote the craziest diss record ever lol stop it So it's you and Joe's fault slaughterhouse is no more nobody else's fault But that really doesn't matter because you and Joe never needed slaughterhouse or crook and Joel! You looked at them too and said fuck you take your deal and shove it up your ass

I love Royce as one of THE illest emcees and wordsmiths of all time but this is def true especially about Budden and Royce the last couple of years. I like Royce much better as a person then Joe but the last couple of years on social media he has def been passive aggressive and weird at times.

I would love for Royce to define loyalty because his actions are anything but and not even with just Em. He talks a lot but his actions are icky. Similar to Joe. That’s why they are so close. Misery loves company

I don’t understand why he feel like he can’t rap about the shit and then maybe his other group members or ex group members might be like oh you make a valid point, may be the group come back or maybe not but why he can’t rap about it why are you acting like such a princess I thought emcees go in the booth and talk about their experiences not countless interviews talk about my feelings are hurt About a group ending who hasn’t did nothing in 10 years and didn’t care to even when money was brought to the table

I respect Royce for being 1 of the 🐐 and a top tier lyricist but he was wrong for pretending to be the neutral person in slaughterhouse when he clearly was taking Joe's side in the situation and messing up the relationship with Lupe. He should have took a chance and did the 3 man deal with Joel & Crook and not let the group die off because of 1 person (Joe) didn't want nothing to with the group anymore but hopefully they can come together bts and settle their differences for the culture & fans

Who cares. He don’t rap when his fans want him to. Didn’t rap when Luke went in. Didn’t hear him on the slaughterhouse project. Yo ROYCE: do fewer interviews, vlogs, live chats, a KZfaq rants, and all that other shit. Just rap.

Speak for yourself I hate how Slaughter ended but I would love to see Royce and Crook two of the illest alien emcees ever go back and forth on disses! It’s lyrical warfare! As long as it stays on wax! Also just replace Budden with Elzhi Ransom RJ Payne Locksmith or Nino Bless (who was on original song) on Slaughterhouse
