RR Buildings Shop tour has been a long time in the making. I decided after hitting 100K it was a great time to do it, and I hope to turn this into a milestone video series. Shop storage, organizing tools, tinkering areas, among many other things that could use improvement. I have a ton of ideas and goals for my shop, so it will be great motivation for me to get the projects done.
Don't judge the messiness of the shop....It is what it is...
Thank you again for the support and lets get to 200K and see what I change up!!!

Don't worry about the naysayers when it comes to a Premier . If it's a live show where people can comment and ask questions with you answering them then it's great . Many you tubers have live shows and it's nice to know when the live show is going to be on . Some you tubers have a live show every week and they are not loosing any subscribers . As a matter of fact they are gaining subscribers . If anyone unsubscribes you because of a live show than they are idiots . You have one of the best channels on you tube . You are a hard working man and you take time away from your work to make your videos .If people don't appreciate that then they can go and stuff themselves . I for one look forward to any kind of video or what ever you put out . Thank you very much for your hard work in putting out your videos . If people aren't happy than don't watch . It's as simple as that . I like your weekly tool discussions as well .

I have watched other channels live streams, namely a Norwegian one of a tesla owner who does road trips and pulls a trailer behind doing pick up and delivery via an app that is called Nimber (formerly Bring but another company already had rights to that name and similar tasks). He has gained more than most claim saying that those loose viewers, as you put it mildly, they can just move along and there is no need to say why you are unsubing for such a stupid opinion of a reason. For me it is just like any other channel, there is content I like and others I do not and just ignore it and do not even bother to troll my opinion like some do who judged the book by its cover and felt let down by the actual content. I would have watched this when it went live but it is not like other lives as it was prerecorded. My only excuse is I got other things that got in my way from watching this when it aired despite knowing it was on during that time.

Amen to that. It seems the majority of people to comment are the nay-sayers and “you should’a - I would’a” types. They need something to bitch about. One can only assume it’s cathartic for those with a terminal case of smallpeckeritis.

Great comment Henry, 100% agree. I've been watching a german diy channel from my country for a while till I have found this one from Kyle, and what can I saw, I just love it. It's the best one ever, and you Kyle are a really great guy as well. So no worry about anything.

Hey there Kyle! I see a lot of people are not fond of this premier thing, I had never heard of it until now. I can see where a lot if people are coming from. But for me, I'm excited. I'm self employed, single father of 2 and farm on the side. In the past 2 years I've only gotten to watch one "live" video on KZfaq. I'm always busy during the day time and watch videos typically at night after kids are in bed, so I miss all the live stuff. Between the heads up notice and the remind feature, bet your butt I'll be here and ready! 😉 Love your channel, and hopefully I can put all that I've learned to use next year on my new building!!

Love the shop and the space kyle and I know time to get things done can be tight but you should definitely get the two lads in on a quiet week and get some French cleats up on the wall and organise small parts, work stock area, etc and got to let some stuff go, I get a skip at least once a year to get rid of stuff just not needed or used. 👌

And if you have older cabinets like I do, and come up with a missing part they help you solve the problem. In my case, the owner helped me. And service is a very meaningful thing. Thank You Stor-Loc. Wow, man. You’ve got a nice set up. You seem to be having great success with your channel and business so congrats... I almost cried when you showed off the “tool rack” with you spares and doubles... I got into woodworking as a hobby when I got sober 6 years ago and amassed a decent tool collection. Well someone (a dirt bag) decided they needed my stuff more than I did and stole 90% of my tools including my table saw and miter saw. I haven’t had a chance to replace really anything because life happened and I’ve had to allocate funds towards home repairs... Anyway, thanks for sharing; I know I’m a late comer to your channel but I’m liking it a lot. Keep on going!

1# STORAGE RACKS !! Get that stuff off the floor and onto the walls or racks 👍 2# Giveaways would be a great way to clean up. There is always some DIYers that could use your older equipment that you no longer use. 3# For the room. You are a KZfaq creator. You have to get a LINCOLN WELDER AND PLASMA TABLE to show us DIYers how to create elaborate things with equipment we will never be able to have in are small shops !!! 😂 4# Love your videos and tips !! You definitely do great work.

The people who have the one of each tool/corded. This totally explains why the world is fked and dying literally being poisoned thanks to this artificial existence. Tell me theirs more to life then working like this guy does all for some arbitrary fee, fine, charge and cost a small group put over us confiscating the Earth and making them pay for everything from their name to the water they consume? on a 70% water world. Maybe this is a reason. People who glorify the beast system and this guy is loaded and coded no doubt Freemason puppet 100% pushing the FAKE reality/consumerism to the masses. Awesome! So fabulous you have such success, a love for tools & enough sense to avoid the endless time waste of over organising. I have not your resources but I have tools from my grandfather, father & a neighbour engineer who passed this year in several wooden buildings, too expensive for me in the UK to heat, but they age gracefully in the dry a lovely Dartmoor pony & two fine dogs: Mother & daughter. You are right KZfaq has made many of us a lot better people via the sharing of experience, techniques & motivation & it should be celebrated. Maybe you could donate your old tools. Corded or outdated battery tools. Young guys starting out can’t afford the tools you have stored away to die. Is there a career center or high school trades class that could benefit? Maybe you could also offer an apprenticeship program. I don’t think you are busy enough so you might as well get a couple sandbags on the job sight!

Love the shop tour! An idea or 2. 1: the blank area you first showed could be a lounge area with a mini bar and inflatable Palm trees for you and friends, family, coworkers to relax after a long day or celebration from another build. 2: The extra tool belts could be given away to new hires/1st year apprentice to help get them started or even as giveaways to subscribers of your channel. 3: The tool cemetery could be converted to your extra materials location after perhaps donating the tools you no longer use to maybe a local collage that teaches the trades. Just an idea or 2 😁

Should made a game room pool table or ping pong table. Made a nice small kitchen. Make an editing bay, make offices for people you might hire. The stair way is it to code with no railing? I would get a few more shelves to organize your tools. Sell or give away tools you never use.

All the negativity on the KZfaq platform, but no mention on the shop, Great space. I would spend company down time to build some more shelving for storage and remove the clutter. You certainly have some tools, and lots of batteries. One thing I'd do with the batteries would be to affix a label on each with purchase date or replace date, and then DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee or whomever replace under warranty. The indoor storage of your travel trailer extends the life of the trailer. I heard you mention motor home a few times, it's a trailer. You might with to set it on jack stands to keep from flat spotting the tires. Definitely a nice shop and work space. Pictures of a before and after de-cluttering IMO can sell prospective customers on a larger building than they planned, especially after they view the volume of your shop cleaned up. Any thoughts on adding a solar panel setup to use for charging the batteries? It looks like solar charging would benefit you and your business. PS, I'm not a solar guy, but for low amp and voltage demands, a solar array can save you big.

I have read, not ever heard, stories of those who purchased in such an investment an said they often say they wish they though to build bigger, as his 84 wide series goes to show the owner of that build had the foresight to increase the size before being rebuilt as an RR Building instead of staying with Morton. I have nothing against Morton, but Kyle and his team just have the better sense for nicer cleaner details, I wish I could have him build my own shop but alas I lack my own property and far out of his range on the east coast in the North East, specifically . southern part of New England, centralized in South East portion of and somewhere around the RI state line in Central MA. As Kyle stated, it only takes new perspective to realize how much more space you may actually need. Also I have no negative on live shows of actual time live or recorded before hand live with the chat feature to allow the creator to have actual time to chat with their viewers and I help moderate a channel often times as i am an assigned viewer and can time out or block spammers and delete other rude comments in the chat. Then again Kyle is quite busy with build contracts and family matters to also contend with, so he may not have time, even as i said others who I watch and do live only do it on occasion, one does it often taking us on their road trips and takes some time to read and respond in real time on camera to chat messages and go so far as to ramble about topics being mentioned in the chat and other times playing non-copyright tunes, also letting us watch him eat even it is not food time for you as well.

UP! Home Depot/Lowes, and those large warehouse type retail spaces have the right idea... Instead of building another shed, keep it nice and tight up to the wall and build a storage rack system to house all of your extra material for jobs. I love your shop and I love your content! Keep 'em coming!

Jesus, give the man a break. He's the hardest worker I've seen on here and does this for everyone. Maybe he actually had no clue about the feature. Regardless, I've only seen this one time right now, yet everyone is losing their shit. Some peoples priorities are not straight. Good job man, may not be my cup of tea, but I still enjoy the videos when I have a day off work.

definitely different from a live stream where some do not take time to respond in chat, however many do take moments to read and answer certain questions being posted in the chat feed, I do help as assigned moderator on a channels live streams to keep certain chat comment(ors) in check, giving them time out of five minutes (300 seconds) id deleting certain things they post is not enough and go so far as banning them from posting further (one can still watch the content n read but if they post stuff it will not be seen by others)

love all you videos. glad to see the channel growing. your honesty is great, especially about embedded posts. I've done the same and lived to see them turn to mush. But we replaced them because we can and we learned a great lesson. youtube is a perfect place to share this type of info. keep up the great work.

Hey Kyle, I relate with your situation a lot. You have a moderately severe hoarding problem as well as flat surface disease - everything goes on a flat surface that doesnt have anything on it. I feel for ya buddy. As someone who understands value in almost anything I believe that is the leading factor with letting things go. Dollars wasted kills me. May I suggest some pallet racking?

This guy obviously makes a good living or he wouldn't have a such a museum/boneyard of, well, everything. This video reminds me of that old TV show, "Pawn Stars". If it were me, I'd probably remove the vehicles (pickup, trailer, camper) to a separate facility and start doing some serious reorganizing. There are a lot of unused walls in there that could be used to hang stuff in racks/shelving. Definitely get rid of that big old TV. Evaluate everything in the shop that is never used, and decide whether it should be kept/used, donated or sold. I agree with someone else on here that a lot of the unused tools could be used by a VoTech school somewhere within 150 miles of you. The building needs to be completed and zoned so that there are specific spaces devoted to a specific mission. Only house the vehicles in here if they can be confined to a specific zone that makes organizational sense.

Hey Kyle. You've probably been getting some negative comments about using Premiere. I tried to do one the other day and it bombed! After that I did some research and it seems like the community in general hates it. It's frustrating cos a lot of people don't fully understand the benefits in my opinion, but I thought I'd mentioned that a lot of us have been caught out with this feature!
@Phantomthecat
@Phantomthecat 5 жыл бұрын
Robin Lewis I’m not sure what benefits there are to the viewer to be honest - there may be to content creators but I didn’t think pissing off your audience was a good way to go about things myself. I only see it as a PITA as a viewer, there are no benefits.
@RobinLewisMakes
@RobinLewisMakes 5 жыл бұрын
Phantomthecat the main feature it adds is chat functionality so it gives viewers the opportunity to talk directly to the creator at the scheduled time, kind of like a live stream. Admittedly this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but it is a consumer focussed feature. I’ve read stories of creators hanging out for hours afterwards. Of course, the scheduling of KZfaq videos is questionable but the way people are reacting is like they’ve been personally attacked; if you want to watch the video when it’s ready, just come back later

Premier by which you mean Premium which is what is is called., Its great if your too lazy to use a free adblocker app, not worth the money otherwise except to gain access to subscriber only content you find entertaining. Unless you are referring to the Sponsor program aka the JOIN for 4.99/month for extra features and channel member bonus stuff, which also is kind of more wasteful. In which that case you should have a badge next to your name to show for. Edit: Oh I see now yeah, this is not new, its been around for at least a few years and is part of Live feed/streaming events to let viewers know when it will air live so you can catch if it your time allows, notice the chat box which will be made playable when he is done so you can see what was asked in it to him in real time. Though chat replay has its quirks in sense of some chat info which someone may have removed their own comments after and is he answers them before they do had he seen it in time you may not know what was asked exactly and other participants who may just be trolling or spaming.

Joshua79C C we’re talking about KZfaq Premiere, it’s a new feature they brought out a couple months back, it’s different to KZfaq Premium Edit: just saw your edit, haha. It’s pretty new, KZfaq only released their official advert for it 4 weeks ago

Robin Lewis while I agree the chat functionality is great, having to post it like this and suck people into thinking a video is ready to watch just pisses people off - Maybe KZfaq needs to fine tune this so it is very apparent on your feed, etc what it is because at the moment all I see in my feed is a video uploaded and that’s not what’s going on.

Thanks for posting this Kyle. I have a 30x40 post frame shop and am a custom rifle builder. My Wife comes in the shop which looks much like your shop just not as big and she tells me i need to fire my house keeper. I'm forwarding this to her because we are in the process of starting a 40x80 Post Frame home and shop in MT. for a retirement home and she watches your vids. We really like your work and my customers really like mine we are alot alike in certain aspects. This way i can stick by the old addage that brilliant minds have messy work spaces. Did i say Brilliant? i meant Genius silly me. Love the shows. Thx, Mark.

Another great video. Love all of them. You put a lot of info into them, with clear camera shots, and great explanations. Music and editing is awesome also. I'm trying to watch all of them. This is a geat looking building. I'm about to build one 48' x 80' with 16' walls and this was very helpful to visualize the dimensions and door sizes/ locations. I started typing this comment ready to ask you the dimensions of your building, then got to the part where you laid it all out, lol. I've also been hesitant about sinking posts into the ground and I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone. I live in River Falls, in West-Central Wisconsin, and I'm ready for you guys to come and build it. 😁
