Well, we all gain baggage as we get older, so lets see how you feel about this in a few years when you have baggage and it is no longer appealing to the men you are with. He can't resist trash talking his ex-wife. No one asked him, he volunteered that. What a bummer. Season 11 was shot 3-4 months after Scandoval. He's talking like Ariana is currently (13 months later) in the same place she was in at that time. The 2 Toms attack women to prop themselves up. Good men don't need to prop themselves up, their actions do that for them.

I mean at this point, nothing makes much sense. His behavior is so wishy washy, he looks like he hardly showers, he's definitely on drugs, his actions are that of a big special educated buffoon. Either he's gay and that's why he loves to bash his woman, or he will never take accountability for fumbling the best thing that ever happened to him which is Katie, someone who truly loved him. When they broke up, he did an interview talking about how he never wanted to be in serious relationship again, because he isn’t actually interested in any way of getting to know the background or details of another person, or putting in any kind of real effort…whom is exactly what Katie always said, and he’d gaslight TF out of her. Yeah, his new girlfriend is in for a real treat. Everyone wants to be picking up after a 40-something year old like he’s still a teenager, living at home with his mom. Tom does this extremely manipulative framing that allows him to attack Katie and Ariana while still coming off as a “nice guy”. He sets up his attack by saying how he doesn’t want to say anything mean (I love her she’s beautiful) but also LaLa was ‘tired of her shit’ (just being a loyal friend to Ariana as he is Tom). So happily exclaims how Jax HATES her. Then, he continues to shade Ariana. Nick is a no bullshit guy which is why I like this show, but it was EVIDENT how manipulative Tom is and the ‘ no bs taking nick’ just allowed it to happen with little push back.

Genuinely disturbed by how many people seem to think it’s okay for someone to walk into a person’s home or workspace and put your bare FEET on their furniture. Y’all need to check your hygiene. Really wish someone had the actual number for how many times he referred to Katie, his then-partner and eventual wife, a b****, like it was her name. The first time few times he did it, I was disgusted, and then just lost all respect for, years ago. Real men don’t refer to their partners like that. Not to mention the constant criticism of her looks, her body, what she was wearing, etc. That’s not a loving, supportive partner. And producers really tried to give Schwartz the “nice guy” edits for years…like, I wanna see what they DIDN’T show, because it was largely Katie reacting to being rightfully frustrated with his behavior throughout their relationship, and not the instigating factors.

I agree with Nick on his take on Lala. Spot I also feel like she’s being directed by Lisa to be “supportive” of Tom since Lisa favors him. I really appreciate everything he said about Ariana and how certain people are so harsh with her. It is annoying how every time Schwartz tries to take accountability for his part in leading Jo on Nick and Sophie both have an investment in rescuing him. He knows what he said to Jo during pillow talk. They do not. Schwartz is famously wishy washy so why is it hard to believe he blurred the lines with Jo too? Do you know what’s so great about the jersey shore cast? They have spent almost 2 decades on reality TV, but we actually get to see them grow and develop as people they didn’t stay the annoying 20 year old drunks we seen them, actually mature and learn boundaries They aren’t perfect. Getting ahead of the Jo storyline, in addition to the Access Hollywood interview. Get out there, remind them how charming and likeable you are, so they don't connect the dots on your treatment of then Katie and more-recently Jo. Katie never courted sympathy, whereas Jo might bury you on that hill. Emphasize that you value the woman you are currently dating. I like Schwartz, but I don't like seeing someone pour drinks on ladies, even when the ladies are behaving badly.

nick’s hot take on jo is lowkey trash. he’s right in the way that no one will protect your emotions except you. but that doesn’t negate the reality of someone’s poor behavior/moves - UNLESS there was a lot of communication from schwartz OFF CAMERA (which i can 100% acknowledge is possible), it was never clearly communicated to jo where schwartz actually stood. i think there’s something to be said abt people “holding out hope” that one day they’ll be w someone, like that’s not healthy at all and it does seem jo was doing that. Tom Schwartz cannot be candid. The Viall Files crew are open and interested in emotions and relationships. Tom has been on VPR for 10 years, where he is purportedly sharing his life. Yet he remains superficial. Nick tried to get him to talk about real things like anger or love but Tom side-stepped anything that might be deep, complex, and human. Is he dishonest or is he just that shallow?

In the past year, no one on VPR makes any sense. For example, in this interview alone Schwartz is like "I don't know what happened with Miami Girl." At the last reunion Tom and Ariana literally said what happened with Miami Girl. It's not a mystery. I don't know if they sound so shallow because it's scripted and so there is only so much they can say about their "characters" motivation, or they can't remember the storyline or they are truly not not living in reality. Bizarre.

Mowing lawns as a 12 year old is a 1st job! 1. It's harder than you think to do it right ( proper pattern, training etx) and 2. My 12/13 year old boy made over 3000$ last year cutting lawns, he had to learn to budget his time between. Sports and fun and sleep and the heat, as well as plan around the weather. Any kid who's cut lawns well for a summer is super employable. P.s my son also negotiated his wage, and then firmed up future work for snow removal in the winter. He has more money in his bank account than some adults from his seasonal work!

since schwartzy can’t be honest about what makes him mad, I will give my observation and experience with libras (his sun sign). he has been ugly on the show several times. it has occurred in the very rare event a situation affects him personally… a couple of examples are when he is not allowed to cutesy his way out of being accountable in a real way… pouring a drink on Katie, body shaming insults about lala’s lips. schwartz can get very ugly when he is not getting away with changing the subject or skirting bad behavior. I love me some leebs, but they are falsely known as fair and balanced. the fact is they do not like to get in the middle or call people out for anything UNTIL it directly involves their world. they enjoy flying under everyone’s radar, being the darling, but when called out/backed into a corner themselves they get very heated. watch the old seasons, he definitely knows how to get angry and show his azz.

Tom Schwartz has always been my fave guy on VPR- bc I mean come on, slim pickings- but something about him the last couple years has rubbed me the wrong way. He doesn’t really get reality.
