No sedan fan can dislike the City.. main concern is till how long Honda can sit on the shoulder of City alone in India??? At least in sedan space, give more options to the customer by bringing Civic and Accord in India.

Very true what you said in the opening sentence. I owned 4 vw vento. After Skoda took over the production almost many parts were converted to plastic and a vehicle after driving each about 75k never used to give any problems. Moment Skoda took over the vehicle's quality detorated and so many issues and cost incl waste of time. Kaan pakda service center ka feedback ke baad. Thought it's difficult to believe that vw is not aware and especially since vw is least interested will never recommend it to known sources. Vw should be given my feedback. In this matter I think that nothing to beat Toyota. Instead of giving a top up of engine oil I had once asked for full oil change even after I was told not to. Within a week the representatives of Toyota called me to check whether there was any issue for the engine, oil quality, etc and the reason i changed oil. That's vigilance of Toyota to maintain their quality. Toyota has a very high benchmark and best process to maintain the quality.

22 Lacs is a bit expensive for this car. Hybrid Mileage does not offset extra premium charged

Nowadays many people don't know the magic of a sedan... Recently from the last few years the public changed their choice and these companies also turned their thinking into business... Sedan is the best example of Aerodynamics, because of this feature only it moves fast and gives better mileage than any hatchback or suv cars... The boot space is also bigger in the sedan when compared to a suv or hatchback car.. sedan is more stable at cornering. Road stability is higher in a sedan... Companies have to pay more tax if they manufacture a sedan which is above 4 metres in length, hence they moved to hatchbacks and suv or mini suv and started manufacturing a car below 4 meters in length so that they can escape from tax payment to govt... They offered some new features like sun roof and other eye catchy things and started telling hatchbacks and suv cars are the best cars...

I have booked automatic Creta Sx O IVT petrol model. Is this correct millage wise? And Is it worth buying? Someone said that automatic car gives less mileage. My first car was manual. That's why we preferred this time automatic. Please suggest is this ok.

I can totally relate to your experience. I owned a 3rd gen Honda City manual (bought in 2012) and drove it for 1.25 lakh kms without any major issues, except for the low ground clearance. I recently upgraded to a 5th gen automatic city for peace of mind and I'm loving it. Honda's reliability is top-notch! I've noticed that the new gen car doesn't scrape the underbelly as much as the old one, despite having the same ground clearance. Maybe it's because I'm from Dehradun (originally) and currently driving in Gurgaon where the roads are better maintained. I drive both in the city and on highways and I think the roads have improved significantly over the years. No more big potholes to worry about! All in all I am very much satisfied with city as a product 🎉

I also looked in the market but after my research I got a 2013 jetta 1.4 tsi mt, has everything infact their is co passenger seat height adjust. Now am happy with it plus no bs6 issues previosly owned a bolero 2014 model just got stolen my badluck and a maruti 800. Its way better than any car with everything someone needs.

I am using elevate since 8 months I am very much happy mileage in 12.4& highway 16.2 Cvt is very smooth & no body roll , steering dynamics are very good compared to creta coz I have driven creta UPTO 50000 kms there is body roll & DPF issues

This car is good but the interiors feels extremely outdated and the suspension is just too soft , it gives a bouncy feel . For a chauffeur driven it’s perfect but highways need a harder setup .

The point is Honda need to switch from CVT to atleast a torque converter automatic . A lot of people don’t buy simply because of the poor gearbox

I own a petrol 2015 City. Driven 94k kms till date. Amazing reliability and 0 issues. But definitely I will not buy again a Honda City. Torque is too low will be tiring on long journeys if the load is high. Low GC.

Difficult to buy Honda City at 23.5 lakhs. Can go with Virtus Topline which costs around 17.5 lakhs and still saved 6 lakhs( make up for less mileage ) and plus got plush interiors and 5 star safety rating.

Honda always has poor headlights

Toyota has cracked it worldwide by being ahead on Hybrid cars. EV sales are going down and hybrids up worldwide. Pure EVs will have a market but will not be anyones primary car. Tata, Hyundai, Mahindra are lagging behind in terms of strong hybrids. These manufacturers should learn from Toyota world experience and follow it if they want to survive. Even UP government Zero Registration on strong Hybrids will give push to Maruti and Toyota, other manufacturers do not have hybrids to offer....

Honda City ke audio system ko bekaar bolne waalon ke paas Korean dabba hota hain jisme sirf features hii hain car ke fundamentals mein kaam nahi kiya toh chalega lekin speakers aur touchscreen Infotainment system achha chahiye.. waah😂
