Last September, we took a look at my friend RadioSilence187's new blaster design: The Cagefigher. Already, it was a compact, customizable, and capable bullpup flywheeler, and we immediately knew we wanted a variant for the shop. After a few months of working with him to redesign and tweak the blaster, we are now proud to launch the RS187 Luchadora.
This is an exciting step for us to license and produce completed blasters, and we hope it's only the beginning. I'm looking forward to seeing more of these in CQB fields around the country as we get back to games this year.

I need to try one with the grip plates because without them that handle is awful and the floppy trigger drove me crazy. Also those color schemes seem to be themed after certain people. Pink/white - Walcom, black/orange - captain X, green/grey - beret, red/grey - Drac.

Loochador was the name of a rocket-powered and heavily armed and armored boat in Just Cause 3. It was the fastest boat in the game as far as DLC. Rico named it after Mexican Wrestling and the Russian who upgraded it and was always fun to listen to, Looch.

That Mermaid's Tail and Metallic Tangerine reminds of Elite 2.0, if I'm going to be honest. Which isn't a bad thing; the colour choice is probably one of the Good things about Elite 2.0

Definitely love the upgrades you guys did. I have the cagefighter i printed and bought all the parts from you to build it. Came out amazing. Will definitely get my hands on one of these when i have the extra money and compare them side by side.

I don't mind that you do product reviews for your shop. You and your team have a reputation in the community for high standards of quality in both your products and customer service. I know you aren't going to try and feed us garbage just to try and make a buck. If its got the OoD seal of approval, its gonna be good. Glad to see your business growing!

The compact form, the comfortable looking design, this thing is awesome. I'd love to see rival compatible version of the cage fighter. I'm also a sucker for the little 40mm foam balls, would be interesting to get an ultra compact hopper fed design intended to be put in this body. I'm horrible at 3D design but I still want to make my own blasters, I have ideas but realization is a little more difficult.

Up until now I've only had a quick peek at a few of the LUCHA builds from the workshop, so I'm definitely hyped to see how awesome these blasters look in their finished form! Thanks for bringing me in to design this wild little blaster for the shop, I hope everyone who orders one has a chance to show me their LUCHA color combos as well! and fyi, I have some sneak peeks at brushless LUCHADORA builds in my insta, for the curious modders~

Excited for brushless variant. I'll definitely be interested in earmarking the Nerf budget for that when it drops, and updates on its development are gonna be exciting to hear about. One point of consideration I think would be valuable for brushless is to make sure there's a good way to 'tournament lock' their velocity, potentially with a few presets that's 'easier than plugging in to a computer and editing code'? Even if it's opening up a compartment and using a tiny screwdriver to flip DIP switches or something so you don't have to increase BoM cost and complexity with a screen + controls that things like the FDL and PewPew favor. My read of the hobby is that brushless is still largely relegated to the niche of people who aren't afraid to open up an Arduino sketch to edit some values at the top, or those willing to pay significant money for the increased complexity of an interface. If you're going to be selling a brushless blaster more like a commodity blaster, I think that barrier is either going to be a hard sell, or a support nightmare. Sure, you could just set them to 100% and say that's their fixed velocity, but I think that's denying arguably the biggest benefit of a brushless blaster. Also, what's the feasibility of a solenoid-driven version? Getting a better look of how it comes together, it's probably a somewhat significant redesign. Perhaps use the stock attachment point, raise it up to be in-line with the bore axis and give it an internal cavity to cheat the space for the plunger at rest without making the entire battery/pusher rear section wide enough to enclose the entire thing? Basically the same idea as a Recon/Retaliator plunger shaft pushing out of the strict bounds of the shell and into an exterior cap. Something like a Hyperdrive would almost certainly be out of the realm of possibility, but a smaller one would likely be sufficient in any case.

I find I really enjoyed building these specialized blasters. So it is safe to say I am sold. The only decision now is do I get 1 or do I get 2? Getting a pair would allow me to do something really interesting with a color scheme from hand to hand, so very tempting.

Wander if there could be a possibility of a nerf modulus attatchment point at the barrel. Only because with a little barrel it would look like a titanfall alternator

This is a really nifty little blaster, and I think it looks super gorgeous. I wasn't sure what you meant about the trigger configurations, did you say you could either pull just the firing trigger or both in the same setup? Thanks for sharing this! 🧡💜 P.S. That mermaid filament looks so nice!

Yes. Unless you order the one that completely omits the rev trigger, you can pull either depending on your playstyle or situation.

We've got loads of room for smart boards and the like. Just like with the dual-stage, we're waiting on the PCBs to accommodate it.

While the problem persists, same as the Jupiter, we are tentatively still shipping the Luchadora internationally. Especially for those in countries with stricter import policies, we highly recommend the DIY kit as it appears it's less likely to be turned away. So I just ordered the fps caps and brass tubing and total was about 15$, when it arrived today it came with only One (175) and One (Brass Tube) is this correct?? I thought it came with 3 fps caps and a 4pk of brass tube? Please msg me back thank you!!

Please don’t change camera angles so often, it’s distracting. Front on is fine. The constant changing angle combined with Lukes inability to stay still is very hard for me to watch.
