Damn, here we are again with another serious contender for a replacement for my current alpinestars jacket. RST is 2/2 for extremely good jackets so far. Thank you for putting these videos out Mr. Van!

I've had an RST Ventilator IV since 2017. Ridden around 50k miles in it both on-road and dirt fire trails and it's still as good as new. [All the zips are still working]. I've ridded in temps from 20f [all liners installed' to 115f [with the liners removed]. It's not as good as watertight as a drysuit in torrential rain [50mm or 2" in an hour of so] but for light rain it's good enough. This new version looks like a good update with improved protection. Much better quality than my Alpine Stars Textile GP Plus R Air jacket and it's toy quality zippers.

That back armor doesn’t look very ventilated. Nice that it is included, but I’d probably replace it.

There are some holes and channels on it to help maintain airflow. If you prefer something that flows more air take a look at the D3O inserts. In the listing for the jackets we have a link to the one that fits. - Van

@@sportbiketrackgear I'm also interested in getting a jacket once it restocks. Recently bought a Small but it feels pretty tight with the liner in so I was thinking of getting a Medium. Have you guys received any more info about when the jacket would possibly restock? Thanks -Angel

@sportbiketrackgear thanks ya! Seems I was too slow to get the large. But I went with the other Rst ventilator x jacket, along with some Rst pants, boots, and a new helmet!🤘🏽 I can't wait to have some proper gear!

Is this tech 7 air vest compatible ? Max Van said the liner was Thick.

You would just need to make sure you have 4cm of extra space under the jacket to manage a deployment. The liner is insulated and relatively thick. - Van
