Okay, snails move pretty darn slow, but here's my solution. Put the snail in a jar without touching it. And then seal the lid onto the jar with flex seal so it can't be opened again. The extra step then is to bury the jar or launch it into space.

A garden snail travels at 0.047 km/h, if I flew from Sydney to Los Angeles, it would take 256723 hours to travel (straight line) thats almost 30 years, such an easy deal to take
