I know why the RTX 3050 LP wasn't up to things, it's because you was using 8 gig of system memory instead of 16 gig of system memory in duel channel, which means it wasn't a fair test, but good video besides that :D

I have this exact model gpu with i5 7600. No issues like what i was seeing in the video. Something isn't right.

Isnt the 3050 pcie 4 full 16? And isnt the dell 7010 pcie 3 by 8 ? This could explain some of your numbers and account for some of the lag spikes.

Hi! By any chance can I have one of your low profile GPUs for my Dell OptiPlex 7010 EoL DT? It can be anything, a 1050, etc. I just need something I can play with while saving up for a bigger upgrade lol, or maybe a new pc. It will currently take me 3-5 years saving up my school money for a GTX 1650 LP, i7-3770, 32 gigs of RAM and 500GB of storage upgrade. Any low profile cards will help, I am 13 and there are no job applications in the Philippines unfortunately.

my i5-2400 and gtx 1050 ran fh5 at 60fps at 1080p low, so ur gpu or drivers are bad

@@quandaledingleofficial6 no it's not, gpu on 100% while cpu on 20-35% so there still a lot of headroom for cpu too process, I think something not right here. even too the gpu on 100% but look at gpu power draw is just around 30watt, I think bad pcie lanes or sagging so gpu can't communicate with the system properly. cus mine with rtx 3050 6gb i got 70fps avg on high

@@quandaledingleofficial6it's not a bottleneck, my system performs much better than his with similar specs. Definitely a driver issue or something. You can even see the synthetic benchmarks, his system scores below average when compared to similar specs

@spoobspoob2270 he only had 8gbs of ram I'd assume 16gb dual channel even if ddr3 would help loads atleast double the fps or just not get like 15fps in forza which is absurd it's def capable of 60fps

In my TimeSpy benchmarks, it's faster. Score of 4600 with 3050 6gb and a score 3500 with the 1650, both using the i7-4790

I am repurposing an optiplex 7070 with an I7 9700, 16GB ram and a 512 SSD to a low end gaming device for my 12 year old. Debating between the RTx 3050 and RX 6400. Motherboard is PCIE 3 x 16. PSU only 260 W. Thoughts on which card would work and perform better? I'm new to this

The 3050 won't fit in your case. Only 6400

Greetings. RX 6400 is a good option, it has a low wattage (53 watts) and it performs great, but his downside is that it only unleashes its full power when it is connected to a pci express 4.0 motherboard, and also it uses 4 lanes of pci express only. On the other side, the RTX 3050 *LOW PROFILE* is also a good option since it isn't limited to the pci express connection, but his downside is its wattage, since it uses 70 watts, but, to be honest, that numbers are inflated and it won't consume and won't reach the 70 watts. But, I would recommend the RX 6400 since your motherboard is 3.0 so it isn't so limited. And if you want to get the RTX 3050, make sure it is the *low profile* version, so it would fit on the case and it is the version that has a tdp of 70 watts

@@OptiGPU, If you have an H61 motherboard chipset then PCI 2.0, which is very slow for the RTX 3050

Could you make a test in elden ring please? Edit: These benchmarks are really weird I'm running an rx 550 4gb with 16 gb in 1600 mhz in dual channel and I can run several games. My hypothesis is that this performance is caused by either the ram or the PCIe line. The optiplex 7010 supports PCIe 3.0 and this card according to NVidia is PCIe 4.0

Probably caused by running a PCIe 3.0 x8 slot instead of PCIe 4.0 x8

Rx 580 is slower than rtx 3050 6gb. But SSF 7010 with H61 chipset rtx 3050 video card is very slow. This video card needs a modern system.
