Today we're looking at the fastest options for not only SFF but Low Profile GPUs on the market today. If you want to build a very small computer or server with a lot of compute, and you need a low profile card, these are some of your only options. Which one is best though?

BTW, if you undervolt 4060 LP (I did 890Mv@2550Mhz curve) it loses less than 1% in benchmarks but consumes 95W maximum and as result becomes more quiet and 7-8 degrees colder under load.

The issue is going to be power. The HP Z2 Mini G9 has no PCIe power connectors available. So you're limited to the ~70 W that the slot can provide on its own.

Very niche indeed but I'm glad you made this video. These are the current best two LP cards and by a good margin, so I was curious about what I was missing out on since I got the RTX 4060 LP (not that I could afford $1500 on a GPU anyways lmao). Good to know that, for gaming, the answer is: not very much!

Thanks for the comparison. This is a very niche market segment and some of us like our GPUs without power connectors so I was wondering if I'd be missing out not going with the 4060. Server GPUs will always be the last stronghold for low profile sub 75w performance I also appreciate you using ffxv benchmark. It's my go-to and ignored everywhere

I love the single slot power cards. the a4000 ada is probably the best example of how far perf/watt has come outside fully mobile SOCs. I built a perf/w machine last year that uses a T series intel 6/12 i7 running at 25w and an a2000 6gb that I got for a good price. I have more fun benchmarking that PC than my main one because it's so fun to see what something running

more memory always good for processing those 4k 8k textures if you using unreal engines or gpu rendering software like octane redshift etc

Great video 💯 📸, Already cleared some of my doubts, Will you please tell us about the company that upgrade these GPU's TDP. I'm planning to building my project regarding to portable desktop setup powerfull enough to handle anything with most efficient way.

Can you do an in game comparison between these two cards showing fps and temps, especially since the gigabyte has 3 fans versus the blower style fan on the ada 4000.

Yeah, it'd be nice if there was a 16GB 4060 Ti LP option for 400ish, that would close the gap a LOT.

I was on Amazon and I think there is a second 4060 LP GPU with a faster GPU clock speed of 2475 for $386 and the other one was $329 with a GPU clock speed of 1830. They look like the same card and don't know how much didderence the clock speed would make..@@cbutters

its hardware is more in line with a 4070, using the AD104 chip, but configured somewhere between a 4070 and 4070 Super, but with a slightly cut down bus (but double the RAM on the cut down bus), and ultimately limited to 75W TDP on the SFF version, which is why its performance is more in line with a 4060.
