Kraftwerk’s music was truly groundbreaking. Time has proven them to be correct. Who would think and create music like this back in the 70s. A damn shame they are not in the hall of fame.

@chromaticcanuck The whole robots gag was because people said they looked like robots on stage in their early years, so they took it to this whole other level and had their mannequin/robots made, it was so good it's hard to tell in some videos who was the robot mannequin and who was real

This is the most recent comment that I see here. Bob, do you imagine that the 70's are 20 years before I was born, but yet I am 32 years old now and I am still listening to this amazing song? I hope that one day, soon, I will go with my dad to one of their concerts in Europe and thank both my Dad for showing me in my youth this song, and also to have him at a Kraftwerk concert where he never went! ❤️

@@ionserbanescu Ion, you are the same age as my eldest daughter, I'm proud to say she too has this album. It would be amazing to have attended a Kraftwerk concert with her. We have been to several gigs of other bands, music has been at the forefront of our relationship 🙂

my daughter 2.5 years old now, really started listning to krafwerk..... dance around like crazy and doing the RO-BUT... shaking the but like a robot would do it, while holding on to the table.... absolutly amasing 😀😀😀

1978?!!!!! So ahead of their time!!!!!! This is one of those bands I like to refer to as "a musicians band" or a "true music fans band." You know, those legendary bands that a lot of people know but haven't heard, the kind of bands that inspired almost everyone of a certain genre.

These guys were making electronic music since 1970, had their first major hit in 1974 with "Autobahn" which was a hit even in the US.

Eccolo... è da questa trasmissione ,intravista di sfuggita dalla TV ke stava in cucina, ke rimasi colpito da quella voce metallica .....e da lì , tutto incominciò......avevo 12 anni . E adoravo i KRAFTWERK....orgoglioso di questo!!!! Veri Sacerdoti di tutta la musica elettronica venuta poi ....i più grandi in assoluto. Il mio primo gruppo ke ascoltavo......lo ricordo come fosse ieri....gli anni delle medie il Natale col primo LP quel colore così rosso......e restavo ore ipnotizzato ad ascoltarli ....in trans.....Florian Schneider mi inquietava ma affascinava .....un minuto di raccoglimento. 🕯️⚛️♾️

It's clear that Daft Punk was influenced by these guys. The use of vocoder and groovy beats and synths used by these guys makes me think of Daft Punk's music that would come less than 20 years later.

I was walking through Town East Mall in Mesquite, Tx. back in 1978 (I was 16) and heard this song coming out of a high end home stereo store. I was so drawn to the music I had to walk inside and find out who it was. The salesman was nice enough to give me a quick background on Kraftwerk and urged me to pick up the album if I could find it. It was the most unusual music I'd ever heard.

I was 1 yrs old here in 78. Got see Kraftwerk twice in 2014. (The Riveria in Chicago & The Midland in Kansas City.) We drank at The Green Room b4 The Riv show. I took a chunk wood off The Riv's wall as a Sovingner

さすがKRAFTWERK神！凡百のアーティストとは格が違いすぎる。 会場にお越しの紳士・淑女が静まり返っていたのも至極当然の反応（あなた方が正常です）。 1978年の時点でこの域に達してしまうとは驚嘆する他ない。突き抜けるならここまで徹底しないと神にはなれない。
