Given how Joe Ruby and Ken Spears created Scooby-Doo AND this show, it kinda makes sense. I suppose they wanted to maintain familiar territory with some characters.

So, here is the thing. Supposedly, Protoman was going to kindle his brotherhood with Mega at some point. They would no longer be fighting, and eventually, he would be reprogrammed for good. Show stopped airing before that was reality

One thing that I do appreciate about this show is that they had Roll properly help. I know she is playable in some games, but she is usually just there. I haven’t seen any other cartoons besides some OVAs, so I wonder if she is useful in other media. A part of me really feels that I should read the comics as well.

i like how the show does have some continuity about that at least. In the first episode, Mega was against her helping Due to being a girl, but then he grows as a character and learns to appreciate her help.

It was like some unwritten rule that dogs either fell into “Huckleberry Hound” or “Mutley” when it comes to talking at the time. I can only think of so many cartoon dogs pre-90’s that actually just barked like a real dog and one is technically a dinosaur who originally talked before it was dropped.

Does anybody know how the show's creators determined the voice actors for each robot master? It's so bizarre, CutMan sounds like Ren Hoek and NeedleMan sounds like Grounder from AOSTH!

For Needle Man, that IS Grounder's VA. Garry Chalk. He also does Guts Man and probs a few others

Best parts: 2:15, 2:52 (this caught me off guard), 2:59, 3:14, 4:25, 5:04, 5:32, 5:36, 7:20 (yet he sleeps in the Brain Bot episode; yup, totally makes sense), 8:28, 8:49, 9:12, 9:30 (wholesome moment alert), 9:48 (cut man AaAAaAaaAaaaAAaaA), 10:36, 10:39, 10:53 (exactly what I heard when I watched the episode. I had to rewind a little to hear what Dark Man ACTUALLY said, which was 'pitch', not 'b**ch'), 10:55 (cut man AaAAaAaaAaaaAAaaA x2), 11:04 (finally, Guts Man speaks sense - or at least shows sense) Lol this took me about 20 minutes to finish 😂
