0:53 The Changing of the Guards at 3pm.
3:34 It could be worse if the King's Guard hadn't held his reins. Please, tourists, read the sign on the wall: "BEWARE, HORSE MAY BITE."
5:25 The female King's guard, off duty, visits her colleagues. Nippy N. 2
Prime Ministry of Education of Algeria.
8:56 The gateman checks on the horsemen.
21:32 Why is she surprised?
21:54 She is writing for the second time.
22:15 Don't invade horses' space, so this is never going to happen.
23:37 Gatesman checks on the horses every 15 minutes, as he does routinely.
26:48 Tourists love this new Majestic King's Guard.
28:18 🤣
36:23 The grey horse and the King's guard trumpet. Make Way
38:05 The Gateman checks on the Horsemen for the last time, as the Horse Guards will close soon.
42:24 The horses are unsettled ahead of the Horse Guards Parade. One of the horses went back to the stables because it was very agitated. The grey horse and Trumpet Guard have come back to take this horse away with the others. They are leaving Horse Guards as the Blues and Royals are entering for tomorrow morning's shift. Usually, they do this ceremony at 10h45 am However, I believe tomorrow the Horse Guards Parade space will be busy with the King's Guard training preparations.
44:12 Trumpeter, on your gorgeous gray horse, play your trumpet again. 'Let’s go, Let’s goooo'.
46:09 Huge "MAKE WAY" very strong one! Tourists laughed.
47:58 Beautiful photo of schoolchildren in front of the majestic King's Guard.
49:31 Another beautiful photo.
51:05 The Cavalry-the Blues and Royals-is entering. This is the first time I have seen this boss, the last horseman.
56:20 The Boss authorized the horsemen to go into the stables as the last shift of the day had already finished at 4 pm. There will be no inspection ceremony this afternoon.
1:02:35 Armed police officers are doing an excellent job of controlling so many tourists in the right places.
1:02:56 The rest of the Life Guards, the ones wearing red uniforms, are leaving Horse Guards and heading to Hyde Park Barracks.Who are they? The Life Guards
This cavalry unit was formed in the 1650s and is the senior regiment in the British Army. It is now part of The Household Cavalry and operates as both an armoured reconnaissance unit and a ceremonial guard to the monarch.
1:04:14 Entering more cavalry from the Blues and Royals. Who are they? The Blues and Royals is a cavalry regiment of the British Army, part of the Household Cavalry. The Colonel of the Regiment is Anne, Princess Royal. It is the second-most senior regiment in the British Army. According to Wikipedia.
1:04:20 Two horses are unsettlingly challenging the riders who show great horsemanship skills. Pure positive energy.
1:05:25 Ceremony.
1:08:05 One of the riders is unbelievable. You won't believe it. Please watch it with your own eyes.

WHO ARE THEY? Formed in 1969, the regiment emerged from the merger of the Royal Horse Guards ("the Blues") and the Royal Dragoons ("the Royals"), units with roots in the mid-17th century. Serving globally, it had roles in Northern Ireland, the Cold War in West Germany, the Falklands War, UN missions in Bosnia, and conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. It was part of key defense strategies and reconnaissance missions. Notably, Prince William and Prince Harry joined as cornets in 2006. HOW LONG DO THE ROYAL GUARDS AND ROYAL HORSES WORK? After the officer checks them at 4:00 p.m., everyone, whether they're on horseback or not, will be done for the day. Two guards on horses watch the entrance to Horse Guards on Whitehall from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. They switch out every hour. WHY THEY SLAP THE HORSE? The purpose of guards slapping their horses when dismounting is to ensure the horse is prepared for the change in weight distribution as the guard descends from the horse. The first one on the neck is essential to tell the horse, "good job." The second slap is to inform the horse that there is an excessive displacement of weight on one side at dismount. HORSES ON HOLIDAY IN THE UK Following the conclusion of the Summer Ceremonial Season, these diligent military horses are respectfully sent to the LEICESTERSHIRE countryside for a well-deserved period of rest and recuperation. One may observe them taking a break on the beaches of Holkham in Norfolk, where they are free to enjoy themselves. During their six-week vacation, the horses are free to roam the verdant fields, inhale the invigorating country air, and revel in the delight of mud baths. At the break of dawn, they are escorted to the square at Hyde Park Barracks, where horse-drawn carriages await to transport them beyond the city limits. Their meticulously trimmed coats are allowed to grow naturally, and their metal shoes are removed. It is a joyous occasion for these majestic creatures! #Thekingsguarduk Thank you for your service!

I like the horse guard on the left. He smiles and nods. He also waved at people on the bus that were waving.

Great content. You are very informative. We stayed right around the corner at The Ruben hotel years ago. Not even sure if it's still there. Such a wonderful experience. Not many Yanks get to see Buckingham palace.

17:18 - I call this the 'I think I'm the coolest, and that's all that matters' pose. 🤣 ~~~~ 21:34 - Don't go up to a large animal, if you're only going to run off screaming like the horse just tore your arm off! 🙄🤦‍♀

I do not like that trumpeter on the grey horse! You can see him, really having a go at his mount and bet even swearing at it! 1:04:48 Then you can see hi, constantly kicking his horse with those spurs.. 1:05:17 for no reason other than I think to try and get the horse to play up! I hope someone at their stables do watch these and see what he is doing to his horse! The horse can only do what it knows to react against this, is by playing up! I also hope someone does check on that poor horses ribs for bruising!🤬 Then watch as the rider constantly kicks the horse as he is going into the stables. The rider has no reason to do so when the horse is already moving and not stopped for him to kick the horse to get it going as it didn't stop!!... starts at..1:06:23 then keeps at it until you can't see him ! Please if someone see this check on this riders abilities in handling a horse, because he should not be allowed near any animals treating them like that!!! Have they thought, the reason this horse maybe like that is because of this rider has hurt the horse by kicking with spurs on, I never wear spurs when I ride because of the damage that can be done, physically and mentally to the horse if used wrong, and by the looks of this guard he has no idea! You NEVER SWEAR at your horse!!!! LOOK at his face as his coming through the arch! His swearing at his horse. Disgusting guard!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I am sure the horsemen are watched very closely indeed for any unkindness to the horses. His Captain will be watching him, and if it was that bad, his mates would say something about the mistreatment of these beautiful horses as well. These remarkable. Soldiers, and Guards control their horses solely with one hand!
