Of course I understand that their professional duty as journalists is to report the facts, and not pass judgement. But if the fact is that they are lying, then just say that they are lying. By not outright calling it out, I feel it is adding to the cycle. Also one more question, there should be a legal precedent in place for public officials who purposely lie to the public to be charged under the law, surely?

I mean this situation actually seems pretty simple to me. 1. He's a new lawyer and still trying to put everything that happened together and what sequence they happened in 2. Trump obviously knows about the whole money thing now but it's impossible to know for a fact when he found out about it and when/if he knew any of the specifics to do with it 3. Mr Lawyer man is confident that at the very least none of the things that were done go against any laws that he knows of 4. Mr Lawyer man is terrible at communicating his point and needs a PR dude to speak for him to stop misunderstandings
