For me the moment that hits me is Rudy's war cry as he sacks the quarterback. Sean Astin's acting with that warrior cry just makes me feel all the pain, all the struggle, and all the hard work he's put in to get to that moment and he's giving everything he's got into that tackle. I don't know, maybe that's weird, but it moves me.

I’m only a very average player with very average height of 6’ (average for the sport) I’ve played hundreds of tourneys at the AA level and had a handful of 3rds. Except for the summer of 03. I won my first and only tournament at the AA level. There was at least 50 people watching the final. The feeling inside when we scored the final point is something I’ll never forget. But mom & dad best friend an his son, my motorcycle riding partner liked wrestling! Mom let me be water boy/team manager. But I spent time learning to wrestle with my friend an his dad (3 time Oregon St. Champion). Our wrestling coach was Bronze Olympic medalist! When my friend, his father an I took on a bling kid that wanted to learn to wrestle! Coach started calling us the blind kids an we started taking on all comers in practice! One day I pinned my weight class wrestler in 6 seconds, coach says, you better rethink being on this championship team, you just let the water boy pin you in 6 seconds! I was telling this story other day an was told, well you were your coach's Rudy!
