I was surfing the internet on my phone while my wife was watching a Canadian pair's Olympic ice skating routine on TV. I heard this song playing and turned my attention to the television. This song is what they chose to skate to. What a beautiful song.🎵 I'm saving this to my play list.

As an older dude born in the 60s, raised pretty much on 70s and 80s rock and metal, then transitioned to grunge and newer rock/metal, I would never intentionally seek out this type of music. Heck, I am not even sure how I got to this video, but I do have to admit that this song is amazing and the video is pure art. Additionally, Ruelle and Fleurie have beautiful voices and seem to be a perfect match as a duo.

Was catching up on Grey's Anatomy and heard this song for the first time. So many reasons it made me sad, and yet gave me hope. I was with my mom when she passed away of lung cancer 15 years ago, and with my dad 9 months earlier when he passed away from complications with his heart. My daughter moved away to another state a couple of years ago, and today I found out my son might be moving out of state as well. My husband just got out of the hospital this past week. He had pneumonia, and his kidneys are bad. They also said he'd had a heart attack. Songs can mean different things to different people. To me, this was a poignant reminder of losing, and almost losing, the ones I love, but that God carried me through it when I was completely broken, and He continues to do so.

Sometimes it's so hard to go on. Sometimes it hurts so much, that we are uncapable to do anything but to do nothing all day. Sometimes it's so hard to BREATCH sometimes. To Carry on that burdein. The burdein that we carry on our backs. This song reminds me something I lost. Something I loved. And i think I still love but it's already gone, forever. It's so hard but my inner strength won't allow me to be weak because I still believe that even if I lost my preasoust thing, a new one is waiting for me somewhere and I just need to believe. This song just gave me so much strength that I just can't let go my feelings. Only one problem is here, I can't recovery what was lost but I can do all I can to create something MUCH more powerfull than it ever was.
