Rug Doctor no cleaning solution coming out, troubleshooting

If you've hired a Rug Doctor to clean your carpets and have found that no cleaning solution is coming out of the machine, there are some simple checks you can carry out in order to rectify the situation, watch this troubleshooting video to resolve the issue, or if you are still experiencing problems please call the Rug Doctor Customer Services Team on (UK) 01903 235558.

Remove 2 screws that hold screen filter to fill tank. Pull out hose and clean metal mesh hose filter at end of inlet tube.

This video was extremely helpful - we found that the hose was not attached. Once that was fixed, the problem was solved!

tried everything on the videos not one video tells you to check the pump on the bottom of the water filter, you will find this at the bottom where you pour the solution through the square filter.... unscrew filter and remove, inside where the water sits you will find a tube on the end is a mesh filter which on mine was clogged after leaving solution in the machiene, the water was gunky and blocked the filter... horay I fixed it and it works perfect I hope this helps anyone with the same problem.

natalie williams : I also tried everything on the videos, until I came across what you have suggested. I followed your instructions and boom it works . Thank you for saving my day and my rug doctor which I thought had malfunctioned due aging. A lot of thanks again!!!

Air lock i have this problem from time to time i disconnect the quick release hose hose connection with the machine powered on press the spray button for a few seconds then connect the hose back together and away you go

I've checked everything I can possibly find. Every hose and connection. Still not getting any water to spray out. Brushes turn, vacuum sucks, tank is full filter clean, set in the carpet position. Does it have a water pump that could be bad? I own this one so I can't take it back

I own one also and I'm having the same exact problem as you.Did you ever figure out the issue?I'm thinking the pump also but not sure.
