lol, Haley. I found your channel last week (@ August 14, 2024) as I'm preparing for a short overnight backpacking trip and was having a bit of difficulty getting everything to fit "comfortably" in my pack. I've done quite a bit of hiking, and quite a bit of camping, but have never really combined the two. I must say that I find your videos very informative and highly entertaining. I'm from Pennsylvania, USA and the Appalachian Trail is within a 15 minute drive. My wife and I also have friends from Kiama NSW Australia that we met on a European vacation in 2018. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences in a very entertaining format, I am going to subscribe to your channel!

So great Hayley. Not only an accomplished videographer, narrator and editor, now a fabulous scriptwriter! Where does your talent end? What a brilliant parody this is with powerful messaging on being intentional in all we do in the outdoors. Sadly, I have seen videos that actually document some of the things you cover, but behave on as if no mistakes were made or the life-threatening position in which they placed themselves was unavoidable. People doing this for the first time may not have the critical ability to detect the danger of this ad hoc approach and then place themselves in danger. You have tackled this problem extremely skillfully and, as ever, with an entertaining light touch. Full marks 😀

This was a very amusing and informative video. My ‘positive outlook’ has got me through a few hikes that I struggled with. Hate to say that I learnt some of the points in your video the hard way, but I learnt from every experience, as everyone should

Done many of them... some multiple times. Same if some one says they did that hike before and don't want to do it again like it is some once only list... doing it at night changes it up.
