You should use your shovel to make the land into path blocks, since it is literally dead grass. I call my custom biome desiccated land, nothing can spawn on it, and nothing can grow on it. I do this to mobproof my land and also match the building aesthetic of the man who produces the worlds total pollution.

Two things: 1) I think the grass grows faster since there's more Co2 in the environment, which it sucks up (hence why it disappeared from the sky) 2) You can get leather from Hoglins, and Piglin trading. You might be able to find it in ruined portal chests too, but i'm not sure.

17:20 Fun fact: pollution in this mod is consumed little by little to support grass growth and other things. trees will also grow to a certain pollution level until they start to decay and lose all their leaves when the pollution gets to high. have fun mowing your lawn!

17:10 carbon can randomly bonemeal. It represents carbon dioxide that is necessary for plants for photosynthesis. If you want to avoid plant growth but still get harmful emissions, you can use filters with leaves in them so that only sulfur can escape chimneys. For extra pollution you can entrap the pollutants with a wall at the level they gather at.

Fun fact: pollution increases grass growth, and each grass that grows reduces the pollution. So cutting the grass only causes the pollution to go away faster, as you create space for new grass to grow.

I doubt lawn grass can reduce pollution faster than it is produced. The better solution would be to get rid of the things that cause excess amount of waste and carbon pollution; fossil fuels, rapid commoditization and deforestation. The most important of which is deforestation because jungles and forest are necessary to reduce carbon. The problem is capitalism, there I have you the answer. If we don’t get rid of that then humans go extinct.

Little tip from me: Until you expand more and need more area to build things, you could leave the stumps of the trees to really *visualise* the deforestation you've caused. I usually do that in any of my Minecraft worlds, just to see the scale of...... destruction, I guess

I feel like the animals are feeling a bit left out at the moment. Maybe they're jealous of the environment being treated so poorly, yet they don't feel much of the consequences. I would recommend the Butcher's Delight mod for forge 1.20.1, as it allows you to happily slaughter and tear your animals to pieces, while also giving you another option to gain leather through tanning racks. I'd think it'd be a great addition of a mod towards a series that is about ruining not only the geographical environment but the biodiversity within it.

Hey thrite I recomendable getting immersive engineering which adds lots to big machines that cause lots of pollution and should be compatible with your pollution mod, also that mod adds concrete which you could use to cover the grass to prevent carbon from “ bonemealing “ the grass also keep shaders they look good.

Donkey's spawn in cherry grove, they drop leather. Rabbits also spawn, 4 hide for 1 leather. You can obtain leather from Fishing, Llamas, Hoglins, Piglin Bartering, & Bastions. You can also trade for leather, however as no villages spawn in Cherry Grove's your best shot is through healing zombie villagers. You could also possibly change the lawn to coarse dirt, gravel, mud blocks, & path blocks? Make it feel more muddy and industrial while also getting rid of the grass growth. (Protecting your pollution) Great Video!!! Excited for the next.

Actually, you can't trade for leather. You can trade leather for emeralds, but not the other way around. It sucks. :(

This entire video is just a train wreck. First thrite is just flabbergasted about how pretty the world he wants to burn to a crisp is, then he spends the entire iron mining arc being traumatized, and the rest of the video is just him going loosing his mind about the fucking grass.
