I might have that mixed up... Another tip: Since you're using Create mod, you have access to Scuba equipment. Diving helmet and Backtank are all you really need, and you can go mining underwater. 15 minutes of air per Backtank, and the Diving Helmet give Aqua Affinity. Plus, post 1.20 terrain gen has the safest mining you can get if you have a lot of underwater caves. 2 or 3 Backtanks, and you laughin.

Idk if he did it in the video (haven't finished it yet) but he doesn't need to make a rotational speed controller to increase the speed. Don't get me wrong, its really nice, but early on you can just utilise gear ratios to increase speed. You do this by placing a small gear diagonally next to a big gear, then placing a big gear in front of the small gear. If you keep repeating this, you'll go fasterererer

If you want to speed up mining, you can build a drill that mines horizontally by using a mine cart track. I don’t really know how to explain it, but there is a KZfaqr called Mr. Beardstone who plays a lot of create and has built many of these drills.

The fact that he doesnt even need a speed controler to speed up the mining is holerious. He only needs a couple gears for the max speed using gearatio.
