5 dos and donts for good digestion
Do's -
1. Finish your lunch with ghee-jaggery
2. Have a banana every day, first thing in morning or as evening snack
3. Set your curd with raisins
4. Increase your physical activity/walking
5. Nap for 15-20 mins in the afternoon
Donts -
1. Dont stay dehydrated
2. Dont have chai/ coffee post 4 pm
3. Dont eat your meals in wrong proportions. E.g. dont have more dal or sabzi than rice or roti.
4. Dont have laxatives and dont remove ghee, coconut, peanuts, etc from your diet
5. Don't stay inactive and irregular with exercise.

Summary: Things to improve digestion 1. Stay hydrated ( drink water) 2. Ghee-jaggery post lunch . Also good for bad breath. Stops sugar craving. 3. Banana (prebiotic) 4. Dahi set with resins (pre+pro biotic) eat after lunch dinner or afternoon 5. Walking & exercise. 6 Include yogasanas . Trikonasan Virbhadrasan and other asans. 2-3 times a week 7. Strength training to have strong body for better contractions. + Stretching. 8. Keep moving 9. Try to Destress as much . Nap in afternoon helps 10. Eat food in right proportions as in traditional food( carb max protein less fat lesser etc). Include good fats(ghee, coconut, nuts etc.). Supplementing excess fiber is bad. 11. No tea coffee post 4pm

02/3​How to set curd using raisins Take a bowl of warm milk preferably fresh and full fat. Add 4-5 raisins to it (preferably black raisins) Take a small drop of dahi, even better buttermilk, and add that to the milk. Stir it multiple times (grandmothers say 32 times) Cover it with a lid and set it aside for up to 8-12 hrs. To who ever looking for making dahi with raisins receipe like me , this is what I have found and has been mentioned in an Rujuta mam article in Times of India . Hope this helps others . Thanks

I m so glad that u are an Indian who is thriving to protect our Indian food culture ,seasonal dietary methods and our traditional food system. I m an Ayurvedic practitioner and always think that if we follow our Indian food culture of our grandmas foreign food industry will run away from India,our farmers ll become healthy n wealthy n prosperous,our country ll be able to save wastage of money on foreign market and most importantly our children ll enjoy childhood food which we enjoyed in ours. I really love this woman she is great!!, I was dieting,started my day with green tea..stopped taking ghee,rice..just took one time food at night roti,sabji dahi at night..breakfast was oats,Kelloggs muesli.I was about to join keto diet..I was always irritated,bloated and constipated however when I came across Rejuta's videos I realized my mistake of not having my nani--dadi's traditional food was the blunder that I made and that's why I was putting on weight and had poor digestion..I follow your advice mam and I do a little bit of exercise,walk to the market,cook for my family and have traditional,seasonal and local food and u am losing weight gradually and my digestion is improving day by day..I also have switched to full cream milk,I make my own ghee from the cream and set my own yogurt at home..Thank you I am also writing a book on my experience and what I have learnt from you..You will be my Guru all my life.Thanks for all your knowledge.🙏

As you always say that we should go by our dadi-nani’s wisdom, I kindly request you to answer my question in whatever next video you come up with -plz It is said and practised in our ancient culture to not have curd in the month of BHADRAPAD. But you do say that we should and can have curd throughout year. Why is it so ? Plz explain🙏 And what to do with Banana when we know that it is artificially ripened by dipping it in carbide solution ? Is it safe to consume in a long run ?

I was constantly gaining weight after a certain dieting, and since I've started following you I'm able to maintain my current weight also I've joined martial arts classes to learn self-defense and improve my strength,stretching, and stamina plus now I eat whatever I want (obv in a supposed limit) and haven't felt healthier ever before

@@shreyasharma4044 1) sleep early 2) eat in silence , chew slowly so you get it when you're full 3) instead of carb,protein,fat focus in what's cultural,seasonal 4) stay hydrated 5) nap for at least 30 mins in day time 6) stay active plus workout for at least 3. Hours a week ( you can make it 30 mins 6 days a week or 1 hour every alternative day) 7) cook at home 8) no tea coffee after 4 pm 9) no cookies or cakes with chai instead have roasted chickpeas 10) no soda ( you can drink once in a week or two but not more than that) So theses are some tips I'm following

Very informative. Thank you for the precious information. I have lost weight by following your many advices. People ask how did i do it , what did i eat. I just try to explain them a very funny understanding. "You have put on weight By eating or overeating. How do you feel that you would loose weight by eating something else. Its simple. You have to reduce over eating or switch to healthy eating. Your body is habitual to the quantity which you are eating now that is more than what is needs and you dont know that quantity. You are fearful of reducing the meal quantity. But you have to think and evaluate your meals. "

Weightloss is a journey in itself. Healthy habits and lifestyle can make you loose weight so easily. I took 2 week 1000 & 2 week 2000 jump rope challenge just with a 15 - 30 minutes workout you can loose upto 5 kgs in a month which is awesome 👌. Instead of just thinking we should be little active and we can loose weight slowly. We should not follow crash diet instead eat fresh homemade food and quit Packaged Food, junk food, fried food and sweets for healthy weightloss.

The 6 most important things for digestion 1) Morning 2 or 3 glases of warm water with lemon honey 2) EAT ONLY WHEN TRULY HUNGRY Listen to your body We do not need 3 full meals a day. 3) Chew foods thorough make it liquid. Drink.your solids and slowly drink.liquids 4) No meals after sunset. Light snack preferably fruit soup salad ok 5) Fast intermittent like once a week. Will detoxify body 6) Grains are man made creation. Increase natural foods fruit veg nuts sprouts.

Ruchuta i do everything.......and no wonder am very healthy person also. But my problem is poor digestion .......I do all those things which you mentioned in Dos. But unfortunately my digestion refuse to Improve. Yes I must admit that from last 10 years am addicted to antacids and ayurvedic laxatives to clear stomach next day.
