By far mine too. Dracula (1992) is one of my favorite movies. I even showed it to my partner who had never seen it, and said he was on the edge of his seat! Which I was as well, just like every single time I watch it! He was great in the Harry Potter series as well. I'm not a very ceremonial guy as I have never been married for a single day in my 62 year life. However, I understand where commitment comes from. It comes from a life of cerebral experience and waxing poetically from the heart. As an end result, I'm still in a committed relationship with the same woman for the last 34 years. I don't require pomp, circumstance, pageantry or ceremony to commit to a greater goal.

@@Thebuilderofthings1 Dude, I get your perspective, just curious about hers - considering that legal marriage is indeed a guarantee of some quite important things - and wondering why she would forgo those protections...other than just to get to be with you ; ) Ah! After 34 years especially, perhaps you have 'common law marriage' in your state or you've executed documents to give one another those guarantees in spite of not actually marrying-? Otherwise, unless you are both completely independently well off and have another place to go to, one of you is going to be SOL in the event one of you gets sick, dies, or otherwise abandons the other - candlestick words won't help at all then.
@Thebuilderofthings1
@Thebuilderofthings1 Жыл бұрын
@@usualsuspects42 Yes, we do live in a common law state. It's also no challenge to simply sign a document making possessions legally binding between both of us. A John Hancock takes care of that. I will also say this. Ceremony does not guarantee one will be financially capable or responsible, it does not guarantee there will be no substance abuse, spousal abuse or child abuse within the marriage. It also won't guarantee there will be no lying, cheating, stealing, coveting a neighbor's spouse, rape, murder and every other conceivable 'sin' you want to toss in to the pot. That's why we reject these concepts and have survived very well without them, in spite of many others having failed miserably WITH them. Repetition and observation has proven this to us for decades.

Obviously Gary is not the marrying type. Funny how people still attempt to have a successful marriage when it’s so clear they are not meant for marriage. Some people should just not get married but society brain washes us to think that’s what you are surpossed to do. Also someone’s ability to attract a spouse is not related to someone’s ability to make a marriage work.

There is no limit to Gary Oldman's acting ability. He was fabulous in Dracula. Of course, in Darkest Hour, he was simply amazing. Even in True Romance, he took charge of the scene he was in..."Well lookey here!" He was also good in The Professional. He is an amazing actor who he can become anybody. Gary Oldman is one of my favorite actors, and I do not have that many.

Because he is a very talented ACTOR, not because he is that person in real life. Has nothing to do with who the actor is as a human when not on stage. He had things to learn all alng the way. Everyone does. Some people do this in a few relationships, others, many relationships over a lifetime, but only when one does this in a series of marriages do they get called out about all the "failed" relationships. He could just as easily not have married and then they would all just be relationships in the past, just like everyone else's. He has finally found someone and is happy, and that's a good thing.

Marriage is treated like a magazine subscription, and is too often not regarded as a commitment to grow old with another. The weakness of immaturity, and folly is to try and grasp at youth one more time, and use that for control, and manipulation angles. IMO, the goal should be more of a partnership for life with support, and dedication. The church was successful, but they lied too much about other aspects of this so it's a free for all these days, and it's more hit and miss for all the institutional promissory vows.

There's better ways to put down people down who you don't like, this way isn't a good one, and to listen to a woman going through a divorce isn't the best way to get a view of the man, his wife who lost her kids to each of their fathers, trying to say he was an unfit father who drank to much and did to many drugs etc, plus said a whole lot more bad things about him, yet separate judge's had awarded their kids to their fathers, so that tells people who want to hear the truth, you can't take the word totally from two people getting a divorce, their stories will be made to make their other half look bad especially when children are involved, Now this type of video is only going to make people think differently about him,it could lose him some fans, so there's no other reason to make this, he isn't your friend and he's not looking after your kids etc, so there's no reason other than to make him look bad, he's a actor and should be liked for his acting skills alone, unless he beat his ex,s up or something bad like that,

Idk 🤷‍♀️ why, but Gary Oldman has always creeped me out! I never liked him as an actor in any of his films because he always plays weirdos and I’m not surprised his marriage to Uma failed 😣. I myself would never have even dated him…..movie star ⭐️ or not! Yuck 🤢 Edit: btw Gary, when you get sober in AA as long as you still go to the meetings, you’re not supposed to make any major changes in your life for the first year so another marriage and kids is definitely NOT recommended if you want to stay sober and marriage! 😜
