No single method of running is best just make sure your not slamming on the ground and avoid pavement as even car shocks blow out on rough roads.

How do you know ? Did you try them all ? :-) There is much more in terms of technique than not slamming on the ground. But it could be a good start :-)

There’s got to be more to running with lighter feet than mid- or forefoot strike. How can runners who are already non-heel strikers do to land lightly? Edit: *What can..

The strike is not so important. The 5 key components of running technique are cadence, running gait, posture, arms movement and foot strike : by foot strike, we do not mean the aera of the foot that hits the ground first but other components related to the foot. You have heel strikers with good technique and forefoot strikers with poor technique.

@@courirlegerlightfeetrunnin2753 Thanks for taking the time to respond, but I’m not sure what your answer to my rather specific question about light landing is. Are you implying that you are unable to advise of any targeted technique tip or cue beyond landing on the ball of the foot like in the video and that perhaps (?) the only way to learn to land lighter is to improve all 5 of your listed components of overall running form? (I do understand well that foot strike does not necessarily mean the first point of contact, and that some fantastic elites like Kitata and Kosgei are “heel kissers”.)

@@aroundandround We are conducting clinics to help runners with their technique; during this clinic, we practice over 25 exercices and give a handful of tips and cues. Unfortunately we do not offer this on YT for the moment.

05:22 - It's interesting that Anton Krupicka seems not to use his arms to run... Do you have an explaination for it?

No particular explanation. What is interesting is to note that Anton has suffered severe chronic calves pain. To carry your arms low tend to shorten the posterior long kinetik chains's use in the running and therefore will tend to put a higher load on the calves. It is something mid-foot runners with chronic calves pain should think about.
