What are the ratios if I wanted to make my own foam latex because I oops accidentally 5 gallons of liquid latex instead of 5 ounces??
@tdebreceni6 жыл бұрын
The ratios remain the same per the instructions, but regular liquid latex won't work for making foam latex. It's different stuff. You can try it, but I think you'll be disappointed with the results. Latex base amount for a standard batch is 750 grams.

My favorite foam latex is Monster Makers', I tried it one day that i couldn't find GM's and since that day I only use Monster Makers' What kind of epoxy is that? Is it the same as shell shock from smooth on? Really nice video, very educative.

Thanks. Monster Makers foam is greata stuff. It was a quick and dirty video to accompany an upcoming article Stuart and I did for Prosthetics Magazine. Stuart did some masterful editing! The epoxy is not Shell Shock. But is is Smooth On products. It's Epoxacoat Gray for the detail layer, then Epoxamite 100 fast with chopped glass, and Free Form Air epoxy dough, and then one more layer of Epoxamite 100 with fiberglass cloth. Very light, and very strong.

Wow! thank you. I will start experimenting with this kind of molds. I like your podcast by the way, keep on!

Is difficult

It can be, but if it was easy, anyone could do it and there wouldn't be anything special about it.
