@@lesparker5605 Thank you. Yes, you are correct. I did recently see that video after I made this comment. Between ages 9 and 10 Lucy is really experimenting with what she is learning with her Vocal Coach. Both videos show a young girl with talent way beyond her tender years. After those 2 videos, Lucy goes silent from the public. She continues to master vocal techniques and physical delivery methods. Age 14 she participates in Voice Kids - UK. She signs with record label and goes full throttle. The rest is history. In 'Run' by halfway mark, she is singing with perfect pitch, perfect volume, using perfect breathing, and perfect vibrato. It's hard to separate her voice from her delivery, both work together well. Use of symbolism in 'Run' also near perfect. She is 'running' on the beach, she is writing 'Run' on the sand. Some of this footage used in 'Footprints In The Sand' song years later.

I feel the same way, I want her to use her talent wisely so we can enjoy for years and years to come. She can specialize in therapeutic DVD's and not even go thru the hassle of touring and probably put alot of the medical field out of business in the process...

Snow Patrol were a commercial Pop-Rock type band so that's hardly surprising, there's nothing wrong with being commercial if integrity is maintained and the quality of the material/songs is good.

@@MikeandGinger Oh, no! 🤪 I should have known what that sound was. You wouldn't believe how loud they are here in Taiwan. Years ago, I used to work in this one school on the second floor. There are a bunch of trees next to the school filled with cicadas. Try teaching a class when those cicadas go off. It got to a point where I wanted to set the trees on fire. It could be worse though. One of my fellow Canadians used to work right next to a rice field. There were always clouds of "she-ow hay wan". (It's the Chinese name of a tiny black mosquito that leave big welts on your skin.)

Would you be surprised that this is a song Lucy might be performing in the future. I have been supporting Lucy for 5 years and own everyone of her albums.
