MERRY FUCKING CHRISTMAS

One of my favorite things about RTJ is shown during report to the shareholders. The fact that El-P and Killer Mike have a genuine love for one another makes these songs hit so much harder. They genuinely love each other as brothers and even amongst all the bullshit going on, they each help keep the other afloat and focused on what matters. Such a good group, and that's not even mentioning the raw energy Zach brings when he shows up.

I was thinking this morning imagine if RTJ3 came early for christmas. It fucking happened!!!

I just realized there's no curse words in Zack's verse. It may not be a big deal. But I think it really speak volumes about a rapper who can make such a fiery verse with the upmost fury but also coincidentally not curse either, simply because he doesn't have room for filler words in his verse. Just adds another layer of greatness to Zack's verse and Zack in general.

The best track on the album with superb lyricism, flow, beats, and performances from all three artists. Zack De La Rocha finishes it off perfectly with his lyricism and focused aggression.

The breakdown at 2:45 is so good...not many Hip Hop/Rap do bridges like this...just superb how it flows into the 2nd part

I heard this went it dropped by surprise that fateful December years ago, I was traveling around Morocco at the time. Blew all my roaming data to get this, was in tears by the end, with this as a MONUMENTAL closer to an incredible hip hop album, cementing Run the Jewels as THE contemporary rap duo to beat. El-P's instrumentals are literally flawless, cannot be beaten. Killer Mike is top 5 easy, wordplay, bars, flows, his fucking voice. His verses bring me to tears. And De La Rocha doing his RTJ cameo and blitzing the whole fucking soundscape.
