The fact that it lacks adjustability and does not have the greatest image puts it in the bottom of choice for me when it comes to cameras for the Vista.. I'd rather have the nebula pro but my next choice would be the Phoenix because you can get them with the run cam link/vista for around $100 bucks

Great review, Andrew! I love that the scratch-built plane flew so gracefully. I'm still holding out hope that you'll make it to the other side of the world someday, and hang out with us at Flite Fest, or even just Edgewater Airpark.

I got caught out on both the pink screen and the 4:3 aspect ratio by not reading before I purchased. I'll wind up spending anything I saved by rushing into this on a better camera. Thanks for nice overview!

I switched the camera to a Foxeer Apollo and all is good.

Now that we are used to the 16/9 format, the 4/3 format seems "old school". The problem with small cameras is the amount of light that enters the camera. You filmed in good weather with sunshine, in overcast weather the images would have been very bland. I like your coroplast plane, I must have missed your construction video, I will look it up on the channel.

Cam aside (I'm analogue), my most flown plane that has Ardupilot and RunCam split etc, is a scratch built/designed balsa plane. It has too many hours of FPV cruising on it to count.

Nice review. With the 4:3 aspect ratio, OSD was very easy to read against the black background without obscuring the video feed. (7:20) Like you I do prefer 16:9, but find 4:3 is usable if the camera is mounted on a pan servo. Without a pan, it feels like flying fixed-wing thru a tunnel. One thing that would be nice for this digital systems is a camera switcher that would allow option switching between of two cameras views (front/rear, or front.map-view). Something for Runcam Link to consider if they happen to be reading. ;)

It‘s pretty annoying RC is not capable to deliver a 16/9 low latency cam comparable to the nebula pro (with full configuration options)

Didn't like the color and only 4:3 having both the wasp and wasp nano. Prefer the old eachine vista even the nebula nano. Nice scratch build you did ❤❤❤

I played with the lens focus some more and just can't get it sharp across the frame. Disappointing really
