This really does sound like a great book. Even if you don't intend on playing it, probably a good example of worldbuilding and what parts of it belong in a setting book

I was fascinated by RuneQuest in the 1990ies, but did not get to play it then. I am happy I can discover the enormous mythical world of Glorantha now. It's so detailed, wonderous, and the art is simply stunning.
