Great. I’m particular about water filters. I wish more camelbak products came with one instead of just thermoses, but I do know how to take this to army chemicals and wood made “char” coal

Inspiring? Absolutely. I went from literally running zero miles per month last year to ~50/week, many of them on great trails. This summer, I saw so much more of Yosemite than I ever would have because I was confident in tackling distances I wouldn't have considered in the past. I'm getting better sleep, am now at a healthy BP and am, in general, healthier than I maybe have been in my entire life. I have to credit your Tor Des Geants video as a main factor in getting me out there and changing my trajectory.

My two friends and I backpacked this route a few days ago, because we were very inspired by this video and it seemed like a great backcountry backpacking objective. We hiked 2.5 days, camping 2 nights (at Helm Creek and at Russet Lake). It was absolutely gorgeous and probably my favorite hike I've done in BC so far! Before the trip, from the video it looked like it was not too difficult, but luckily we got the challenge we were looking for. Carrying up our big backpacks with tents and all up that Whistler Mountain was no joke. When watching the video again after the hike, we felt so seen as Jeff and Audree seemed to be as tired as we were. We had the exact same reaction when we found the water source after the Whistler Mountain. Thank you so much for sharing this gorgeous route! It was an amazing adventure!

I really do like your vidoes but I most say that my favorites are when you include Audree, you two complement each other for me as a viewer in a way that takes the vidoes to another level. Especially in "Mega Trail" I really like the back and forth between you two and the difference on how you portray you experiance.

I'm not sure how often people tell you Jeff, but you motivate myself and I'm sure a lot of others included. I got diagnosed with a GI disease last year called ulcerative colitis and it's pretty much derailed me from any exercise activity motivation for the past year. Luckily, I'm on some medication and starting to feel normal enough to try to pick up running again the past month or so and it feels amazing to be moving again. I've almost been binge watching your videos lately and I really appreciate your motivation through these videos as well as the dedication it takes from you amongst training/races to make these great documentaries of your journey. I'd honestly love to get involved with trail running races and do all of these incredible things you've done on your journey man. Eventually get my wife out there walking/jogging on trails too so we can create memories like you and your spouse are doing! You're going to have a hell of a story to tell when you're older brother. Keep making us proud and motivated, I look forward to binging more content of yours for sure!

I am 47,and started running exactly one year ago. I was not able to run more than 30 sec interval with 2 min walk in between. Today I ran my first 10k. The beauty is that after watching your videos (back to back sometimes) I did the 10K as trail run. My goal is to run the 50k at Quebec Mega Trail. I love your videos and definitely you are an inspiration for many others including myself. I am still exploring your channel to see if I could find more info about nutrition and preparation. I am doing intermittent fasting and low carbs that helped me reverse diabetes but not sure if it will be sustainable when running long distances.

I’m not sure I could easily say why, but this is my favourite of your videos so far. I am not an ultra runner, but my wife and I do run a little and do a little trail running. I like the variety of your videos. It’s great to see the events you participate in. But it’s also great to see days like this one. To be honest, it was a revelation to hear that you had to work up to a day like this. That was reassuring to hear. I had foolishly thought that you are just super humans who do this kind of a run on a whim. So I think what I particularly like (in addition to the beautiful scenery) is hearing a little about the background to what running trails like this requires of you. Also, since I am primarily a mountain biker (based in Ireland) it was great to see a little of Whistler from a different perspective. I especially loved seeing you walking on the bike trails. If I could give a video two thumbs-up, this one would get it from me. Thanks.

Yes, as always your video did inspire me. I'm not a runner, though I wish I were when I see your vids. Still, you inspire me to do a better job of conveying the effort along with the beauty found on trips I do - as with Flora last week. This did that, and while I'll never do 68k in a day, Plenty of beauty can be had with even 15 or 20k beneath our boots. I'm off to Needle next weekend to share that little gem with a friend, and will take some lessons from your efforts here on how best to share the adventure. Thanks as always for taking us with you!

I’ve definitely been inspired, watching many of your training and BIG race videos. I have run marathons but not an ultra yet. At 67 I am planning a 50k this summer. Watching you and Aubrey really sets the tone and gives me ideas about calories, pacing, hydration galore. My goal is to at least appear to be as upbeat and happy as Aubrey at 45k. Keep it up. I’d love to hear just an occasional summary of your k or mile paces on flats, hills and total.

In April of 2020, just out of the damn blue, I suddenly got plantar fasciitis and it's not been terrible at all, but I can't get rid of it no matter what I do. So, I have decided to run again. It doesn't make a difference if I do or not and I have been missing my long trail runs soooo much! I am currently at three 4-mile runs a week. So, still very much at the beginning. But I'll get back to my long distances and until I do, I just keep living vicariously through you! Thank you!!

Jeff You Produce World Class Videos. Like this one, and your Fast Packing around UTMB. Or Crewing and Pacing the Hardrock 100 !!! These Videos are definitely Awe Inspiring, and well worth watching every minute. !! I spend a whole summer in 2005 hiking all thru the Canadian Rockies. It was Magnificent !!! I admire your youthful speed, and excitement for pushing yourself, out of your Comfort Zone, In the Most Beautiful Places in the World. !!! Trail Running has got to be the Ultimate Lifestyle !!! I am envious that you have found a way to do what you Love, as well as making a Living Doing it. I did a lot of Adventurous things in my 20' and 30's. Now at 63, I am mostly Sedentary, having lost Mobility, because both lower legs have been amputated. Be Very Grateful for your Legs and Feet, that they are able to Carry you, as far, and as fast as you can go. Sadly, Badly, that is not me any more. Growing Old Sucks !! And watching these kinds of Videos, is nice as a Spectator, but not the Same, As having the Adrenalin Rush, of actually going outside, and climbing up mountains yourself. Enjoy all the Fun and Adventures, and keep posting more World Class Videos. !!!

I particularly enjoy discovering new spots in Canada (I am french and leave in sweden) and your very positive spirit while training or competing. Please continue your videos, Cordialement, Stéphane

I'm a year late in watching this video, but I have to comment and say a huge Thank You for posting this! The beauty of the scenery is breathtaking. I've never seen lakes that color of blue before. This was a gorgeous film. Thank you so much for filming and sharing it with us!

Glad you enjoyed it! Glacial lakes are quite unique in terms of colour - it’s caused by how the sunlight reflects off the sediment.

Your videos are amazing and truly inspiring. I’m looking at doing some of this in the uk instead of always road running. I watch them in the evening instead of the tv. They are addictive !!

Absolutely love your work Jeff - seriously the best running content on YT. I did this route as two separate runs over the last couple of weeks and now you have inspired me to have a go at the link up although I know that Khyber ascent is going to be an absolute killer - it was hard on fresh legs :)

Very nice shot Jeff - as always! I also watched Kerry Ward's run/hike on almost the same route and am impressed with the area. Since I also do trail running, your videos really motivate me when I'm on the treadmill in the winter and getting ready for summer runs in the Alps.

You asked if your video inspired us.... And the answer is yes! Everything about it, the unbelievable nature scenes, the fitness and skill, the commentary, the lifestyle, the music. Recently discovered your channel, and it's my new Netflix and way more chill. It's my dream to immigrate to Vancouver, and be a lifetime trial runner. I am a music teacher from South Africa. Thanks for providing wholesome content and be blessed in your ventures.

Love your videos Jeff. I've actually been living in Whistler for nearly 30 years and have been a lifelong road biker and mountain biker. I've recently started backpacking the local trails with my teenage son and we're loving it. I want to start fastpacking with some run/walking. I have no desire to full-on trail run like but I'm loving the change of getting out there on 2 feet instead of 2 wheels. Thank you!

100% inspired Jeff. Beautiful film again. Images of the lakes were stunning. Love the insights of the work that you and Audrey put in to do this run. Your message about getting out of our comfort zones, getting out in nature with the people we love will resonate with many. I hope one day to trail in beautiful places such as the ones you cover in your films. Thank you for the time and effort in crafting these stories. They deliver much much more than inspiration. For me they bring, joy, hope and optimism!
