I heard 93 cleans the pistons due to E85 clogging them with gunk after a couple months is that true ?

Just know not all tuners are informed or have your best interest at heart bra [just being honest as I've been in the scene when the car community was about love vs. clout and one-upping each other]. My local shops here in the DC area suggested the same. Why? Because they don't want some "random" generating more power than themselves or their crew. It's like the car scene is no longer about empowering/educating others with the right knowledge but instead "copy catting" what others say. Basically the blind leading the blind. Moncef's tune on that raw NA 08' G37 that made 355whp/294trq on that rev-up? Is sad IMHO because on my DE (built forged 11:1 compression block) I dyno'ed at 363whp/302 trq. I will be dynoing again with my 1000ccs, fuel pump, comp fuel return system, on both 93 and E85 shortly - with a Nitrous Outlet 150 shot. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@@11tahid In a nutshell, factor in low impendence injectors + flow + duty cycle (including your other fuel components) whether you're going with Moncef (Admin), Uprev, or Ecutek. What "THE MODERN TUNING SCENE" doesn't understand is "ENGINE CAPABILITY VS. MAX DUTY." And with E85? Roughly 30%-35% of the cycle is loss due to more fuel being needed! So for 570cc? 450whp is doable....assuming you build your system to run "max duty." If you want 650? Buy a 62mm turbo, use the 550ccs, upgrade your ECU with supporting mods and you will safely handle "MAX DUTY CYCLE." Signed, An atypical VQDE Non-RevUp Nigga. ✊🏾✊🏾

@@driftgodg6943 im tuned by rzg (to much drama around moncefs name) they have been great so far with everything so im just following their advice. i dont plan on boosting my car just going for all the NA stuff. but yea i have the 570s now lets see what happens when i go on the dyno. (getting E tuned)

Nemesis C I’m not totally sure what tunes are available on this platform-haven’t had mine tuned yet-but there are guys on other platforms tuned for both 93 and e85. They just switch when running at the track. so you may not have to run it all the time-it’s a relatively inexpensive mod like boost said. I wouldn’t think mpg difference is that crazy anyway

Most cars design now are designed to take the corrosion of E85. Because gasoline has up to 10% ethanol.

@@danieladame3623 it's near impossible to find anymore especially outside of a large city. I've heard of guys literally buying the entire underground tank of it from gas stations and essentially hoarding it for themselves. I'd assume they'd have to get it out of there, but if they can afford to buy that much I'm sure they can figure out storage. It's sad that its essentially being fazed out. It makes sense, but the tree huggers have a problem with farm land being used to create engine fuel instead of human fuel.... it's a vicious cycle with them. They want everything solar or wind powered all while not "disturbing" so much as an ant.

You would have to get custom maps from your tuner depending on E85 content

Daniel Barrios Romero it’s not necessary, but for e85 you’ll need to upgrade your injectors and the fuel pump. and you can ask your tuner to make you a separate map for 93 and e85
