A lot of ultra runners don't really know how much they inspire me to keep moving forward in every part of my life: husband, father of two boys, scientist, unsalaried kids-soccer-coach and last but not least wannabe-runner. Watching these videos and seeing these people really digging deep makes me happy and shows what human beings are capable of. One more vote from me: Keep being awesome!!!

Love everything you guys put out. This one is a great example of chekhov's gun, though. Was hoping when the original was taken down it was to re-edit. Would love to see a short piece put together of Versteeg or Eric. Has to be enough overall footage from the event to put out multiple videos an I'd watch them all.

In may 2022 I could barely run 2 miles without getting out of breath and having to sit down. I used to love running but I suffered with chronic bronchitis for almost a year in 2021-22 which ruined my cardio. Now in October 2022 I just completed my second half marathon, and after watching a lot of ultra marathon vlogs, I feel rejuvenated and want to keep training and maybe get into the trail running scene. Every time I feel like I can’t walk up my stairs because my legs don’t work from a day of strength training I try to be grateful. Grateful that I have legs which allow me to run. I also now focus on turning all my difficult training moments into a reflection of how I’d handle myself if I was running a 100 miler. I feel like I’ve fallen in love with running, and I’d be the luckiest person ever if my body lets me run a 100 mile race in this lifetime.

Made it 12 minutes in and realized that this wasn't racing coverage at all. This was an advertisement. Woefully few landscape shots, and hardly any history, interviews, or status updates. In fact, I suddenly realized, that this is all about where to shoot, what to shoot, where to put up the drone, where to set up, and what the drive access is like. Sure the whole picture, as it were, includes some about the photography, but not this advertisement. Not subscribed. Not going to now. Good luck with your business.

It’s actually a race vlog episode. It’s capturing a bit of my experience filming and covering the race we created and organized. We have a full race film coming out this fall on the event. The “Steep Life” series follows more my day to day life and experiences vs race films. Just some context to consider.
